Looked all over the San Antonio area for a Kühl vest that wasn't insulated. Good Sports was the only one to have them in-stock. Friendly staff got me just what I needed and I could get back on the road to South Dakota. I would recommend stopping here first!

Wonderful staff and selection! They make sure you have everything you need and have amazing knowledge to guide you to a solid purchase that will last. I was very happy with my hiking boot purchase that has been great for over a year.

One of 2 places in the city I am able to find the Vibram brand. The staff knows their products very well and know their clientele. The products here are a bit higher end and of better quality and spending a bit extra is worth it.

Super well stocked of Texas Standard gear and Howler Bros! Felt welcomed and the entire staff was friendly. It's an excellent customer service oriented store with great fashion items. I will definitely be coming back and shop again!

I purchased a pair of LaSportiva trail hiking shoes over the holidays from Good Sports Outfitters and couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. The online transaction was easy, their prices were great and the shoes were received 2 days earlier than expected! Who does that during the holidays? Knowledgeable and patient. Truly appreciate their time and service in helping me find the right shoes with my picky feet. I went in for help with bursitis pain after a recommendation from my Podiatrist and am happy to report that since wearing my new Altras, the pain has stopped almost entirely.

Customer support is unmatched! I went there with a factory defect on a running shoe (wore it for about a week) and they replace it no questions asked. I didn't have a receipt or the box and it didn't matter, they took great care of me. David and Stephanie helped me out and were able to get my footwear replaced with another shoe because the shoe I had was out of stock. Thank you guys, I will be back!

I had been looking for a good pair of boots and settled on a pair I liked. A certain big box store did not have anything in my size or anything close to it. I stopped by good sports and was offered to try boots in the size up, size below and different widths in addition to my size. Customer service was excellent and was a great experience. Don’t let the size fool you, they have just about everything you need and a great selection of boots. I’ve been very impressed the times I’ve stopped by.

I found this place a year or two ago (2011)and I've always come back for my shoe needs because they are really knowledgeable & set you up with what your feet should have. I refer these guys to everyone I know & come into contact with. Jordan is the man!

I left pair of climbing shoes in the car and the soles had become slightly unglued. I went to replace and they were honest with me about how I could repair them and that I didn’t need a new pair. The fact that they didn’t try to upsell me was super appreciated and I’ll definitely buy my next pair from them when the time comes.

Always a great experience. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I only buy my shoes from these people. They will try every shoe if they have to so that you can have the most comfortable fit

An amazing local gem of a store for adventure gear. Staff is extensive attentive. The range of products in stock is very impressive, starting from Patagonia (which lists them as the top local shop), North Face and Arc’teryx, to the most exotic adventure gear you can find on the market: Rab, Sitka, Canada Goose, and a ton more. This is now my favorite adventure gear store in town.

I had a fantastic experience at Good Sports today! I recognize their primary business is for skiing and out door adventures however the extremely out of the ordinary for San Antonio winter blast with temperatures in the teens for consecutive days caught me unprepared! I have heard so many great things about this family business, I wanted to check Good Sports out.

From the moment I walked in, I received a complete concierge's experience by Jordan. He really took the time to ask all the right questions so he understood exactly what I needed. Never did I feel I was being sold, just hospitably served! I have absolutely no taste so I was happy to put the decisions in his hands! I left there fully prepared to face the winter surge and definitely in style!!

Although I don't really ski or do too many out door excursions, their selection looked absolutely amazing and premium.

Super cool store! They’ve got all kinds of cool gear - my wife got a nice jacket there for skiing. We let them know our budget and they worked from there - didn’t push the expensive stuff on us but still let us know clear pros/cons.

Good Sports has great staff that know the equipment and use the types of clothing and equipment available. They offer quality items. I recently went in to the store to try on some light weight hiking boots for my first trip to the Grand Canyon. Jordon explained what I should for in a boot for such a trek down and back up the Canyon. I left with a great light weight boot that fit my feet. Jordan's knowledge made sure that I got the proper boot and fit, not just a "good looks" boot.

We have been customers for years...always great help finding quality products. Being able to see things in person & have help finding the right "fit" is a winning combo.
