Framed In Time

I HIGHLY recommend “Framed In Time” for all your framing needs! They are a wonderful, talented group and the work is exceptional! I have brought several projects to them over the past few years and they all came out wonderful. The staff is welcoming, helpful and they give amazing advice on what type/style of frame would work best with each piece. They have an incredible selection of frames ….more than most place I have visited. The work is Solid and every frame i have purchased highlights my art perfectly. Whether it be a simple frame or something more ornate…they can do it all. The staff take pride in their work…and it shows! And they also have a cool little gift shop on site for you to browse for a gift, an impulse buy or for some fun tchotchkes. I will continue to bring my art projects to them for many years to come. They are Simply The Best! 😀

We visited ‘Framed in time’ store last week! We were really struggling with a gallery wrapped canvas as we didn’t know how to separate the canvas from a heavily stapled wooden frame! And though it was not something the store specializes in, the very kind gentlemen John Fournier (who also owns the store) helped us out! We had about 8 frames and he was so sweet and kind to help us preserve our artworks! He is a top-notch human being and the store is the best in town for all kinds of frame related work! Awesome store & people. Gorgeous work. Have had several pieces of art matted & framed here, and they truly create masterpieces. Some of the pieces were simple inexpensive prints, but the attention to matting detail and unique frame materials really make them pop.

Tip: I always take a paint color sample for the walls where I plan to hang the art, it really helps in choosing mat / frame colors.

There are also many wonderful artsy handmade items that would make cool gifts. From tiny pocket good luck tokens to beautiful wood utensils & travel cups, pottery, stone, jewelry & woven goods.

We have had many things framed here, each being perfectly done with the most accomodating, talented staff assisting in color choice (mats) and frame selection. I just had a special item matted and placed in an existing frame that I supplied, and I was overwhelmed with the speed of its execution, as well as the finesse of the final product. I can't say enough about this place--don't even think of looking elsewhere for the penultimate framing experience!!!
P.S.--they also have a lovely selection of gift items!

It always has been a pleasure to support this local Framingham business. I go in with a simple frame in mind, and James surprises me with a gorgeous idea that really accentuates the art! My family is very grateful to have such care put into what hopefully will become heirlooms.

(I’ll also add that I wisely choose to enter the Saxonville Mills during school vacation in the middle of the day. It can get tricky at that intersection~😅)

James H. is one of the best in the business and is my go to person for all framing needs whether it's something modern or even a historical piece.

James was tremendously patient every step of the way. I am so grateful for this as I was indecisive at first. His suggestions and willingness to let me experiment helped me nail down with confidence, what I was looking for. We are beyond thrilled with our pieces. They even rushed a Mother’s Day print that my children had prepared for me.

They have a better selection of frames and mats than any place around. Rob worked with me in detail to make sure everything was just right. His work was truly professional and came out beautifully. I was so glad I trusted my project (a collage of photos and 3D objects) to Framed in Time. I would definitely recommend coming here especially for something that is really special to you. They treated my project like it was their own and I appreciated that.

This is the best frame shop in eastern mass.. they are knowledgeable and friendly. They will do what it takes to get you the correct frame for your photo , print or painting. We have had many things framed here and never been disappointed. They also have fabulous gift shop for all your shopping needs.

I stopped by here today to fix a picture I had dropped and broke the glass. John, I think the owner not only fixed it, but would not accept any payment. I will definitely be doing business here in the future.

Here we are almost a year later, I brought two pictures in to have wires attached for hanging again greeted warmly, and it was done super quick while I waited for next to nothing out of pocket. Great business.

I needed some photos framed for my mother’s funeral. It was short notice but they did the work all in one day because they knew how important it was. They did great work! Very grateful for the awesome customer service!!!

I'm so glad I found this shop. They have everything needed for professional framing and more. I had a very rare poster from the 1970's that was an oddball size and wanted to preserve it and display it. The professionals explained what I need to do and the best way to preserve my poster. I feel the price was very reasonable for the work required for a custom frame size and the other materials used. The final product was simply EXCELLENT.

The best frame shop. A big selection too. John Williams in particular is a genius. This store makes frame shopping an extremely satisfying experience. Everything that I bring in is enhanced to a degree I wouldn't have imagined by the perfect frame.
