This is my neighborhood Safeway that I go to all the time — and the staff are wonderful! My house keys fell behind one of the self-check out machines and were almost unreachable in the narrow gap, but three different employees helped me take part of the machine apart, search through the crawl space and retrieve the keys!!

This is a super nice Safeway conveniently located. The store is always stocked with fresh produce and always new products are coming in. The staff is also very friendly and we enjoy going to this location because it’s convenient for us to get in and get out. Just a heads up it tends to get really really busy over the weekend. Specially, in the evenings.

Marina Boulevard Safeway seems to be on Beach Street at Buchanan. Seeing the SF Heritage "Birth of the Marina" will really make it interesting to shop at the location of the first Safeway in 1959 by architect William Wurst. Self service machines, somewhat difficult to interpret product location signs make Marina Safeway a nice store. For a customer arriving by the 22 Fillmore bus, you are able avoid dangerous Beach Street drivers by returning from Safeway on Bay Street to the 22 Fillmore bus stop at Cervantes Avenue.

They had everything we needed last minute on Thanksgiving! They were open until 6 PM and the employees were all helpful and nice.

My favorite Safeway in San Francisco. It has an early open deli (8 am on Sunday) and a wide variety of classic meats, breads and cheese along with a selection of organics. Reasonably priced. Beautiful location.

Great store with almost everything, staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend getting membership from Safeway, membership is free and will save you some dollars. The place is on the main street and parking availability isn't an issue. 5 star for this amazing store.

I live in the East Bay but I love to drive to this Safeway have a sandwich made then take it to the picnic grounds under the Golden gate bridge to eat it

Great little grocery store right across from the park to see the Golden gate bridge and Alcatraz. They have quite the selection and fairly reasonable prices for California.

One of the more busier Safeways in The City. Great deli as you enter on the right side of the store. On the left side will be the 🌹 flowers (moved from outside to inside). Excellent selection of wines & spirits. All bakery products are made on the spot. Fresh as you can get donuts, bagels 🥯 bread. Meat and poultry are some of the best cuts because they have butchers on site. Peek hours 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm Handicapped parking available. Large parking lot in front of the store itself. Great customer service with security on site.

Had no problem shopping here to grab a drink and snacks. Reasonable prices. Great location and hours when nothing nearby is open.

I HAD NOT BEEN TO THIS SAFEWAY IN SEVERAL YEARS WITH THE PANDEMIC.

YESTERDAY ON A HIKE FROM NOB HILL, I PASSED THROUGH THE BLACK POINT TRAIL & CAPTURES DOME AMAZING VIEWS.

THEN DOWN TO THE MARINA DISTRICT, I STOPPED AT THE SAFEWAY & PICKED UP A FEW ITEMS FOR DINNER TONIGHT ON MY WAY BACK HOME.

WHAT I LOVED ABOUT THIS STORE - IT WAS NOT CROWDED WITH PEOPLE & EVEN AS LATE AS IT WAS WHEN I ARRIVED - IT WAS STILL STOCKED WITH PRODUCT - EVERYTHING I WAS SEARCHING FOR ON MY LIST - I FOUND.

IT RECEIVES TWO THUMBS UP FROM ME & MY TWO BIG TOES TOO :-)

FILLING YET LITE & DELICIOUS.

I like this place always clean and smells good. Staff is very good. Marina and Mission Safeways both are the best in the city.

Friendly, clean, the security is helpful but not intrusive, and their Safeway select selection is amazing.

Very nice Safeway, it's a busy store so the parking lot gets full fast. Nice selection of food. The deli sandwiches are really good. The only bad thing is the width of the isles are rather small.

Local chain supermarket to get all that you need. The staff keep it clean and safe with security guards. The place is fully stocked with all your grocery needs. It's a busy place but they move people in and out of the register lines very quickly. There is a self checkout which I use all the time.

Old School Safeway. Cooool. Wear you mask during Covid. Nice staff great location. Super clean. Good selection. San Francisco is expensive even at the Safeway. o well Gertie get over it get in yer girdle and waddle down Van Ness...through Octavia street...wandering aimlessly...go home!
