Amazing local bookstore. It's small but packs a lot in. I always find great gifts for any type of reader here, and when in doubt, can depend on the staff for recommendations. Solid selection of puzzles and stationery as well!

Love this little independent bookstore so much. They have a good selection and are always happy to order anything not stocked. Such a neighborhood gem and one of my favorite places to visit!

Cozy, welcoming, exhaustive, not overly precious. Love Paper Boat. It's my local bookstore and go to place for all kids birthday gifts. The place isn't huge, but they always have the things I want or can get it shipped asap. They also have very well curated cute ephemera, tchotchkes, and gifts, and I always leave with at least one sheet of/ large puffy sticker as a motivation prize for the Child.

What a lovely bookshop! The space isn't huge, but the collection has been thoughtfully curated; for the most part it seemed like they didn't have every book an author had written but they had their latest, which makes sense when shelf space is limited. There were a lot of hand-written staff reviews, which I enjoyed reading. There were some cute sticker and stationary items, but they didn't overrun the shop and served more as an accent. Overall it felt intelligently put together, and whoever does the ordering for the shop has great taste!

This is one of the best bookstores I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to plenty! Their inventory is top notch, the store is easy to maneuver and navigate, and the employees are the perfect level of “here to help however you need but also we will let your introverted book loving self browse for a long time.” Definitely check this hidden gem out!

I love this store! It's the type of store I go into when I'm not looking for anything specific. If I have a specific book I want, I know there's a chance it won't be here, but they'll always order it for you! This is the best book store in the area to go in to if you don't know what you're looking for and want to pick up an amazing book you've never heard of.

My wife and I love this sweet neighborhood bookstore. The staff is always so welcoming and helpful - we've both enjoyed a handful of staff-recommended reads and always look forward to our next visit. And ordering new releases over the phone has also been incredibly easy in case that's your thing! Thankful to have you in West Seattle, Paper Boat!

Delightful store with a kids corner and excellent selection of books. The space and shelves have been arranged to effectively showcase stationary and staff picks. You can walk around and be surprised at more stacks to peruse!

Awesome selection of books. I love this place. Always get in to purchase one book and end up buying 3 or 4. My go to place when u need a good read. And I feel really good about supporting small businesses in my neighborhood.

Such a great little, local, family-owned bookstore. It's small and cozy. The kids section has some great books with awesome art. They also have games, journals, etc. Very thoughtfully stocked items. My husband delivers to them on his UPS route and is always impressed with their service and books. Highly recommend them!

Very nice local bookstore. Quaint and very friendly staff. Good selection for small place but they will help you find whatever or order for you. Support local bookstores! Also, the drummer of Modest Mouse owns this bookstore from rumors I hear.
