Totally Rolled Ice Cream

My first time trying rolled ice cream did not disappoint! There are a bunch of vegan mix-ins. I tried vanilla with coconut whip, and it was great. I also got vegan ice cream with peanut butter cups and cookie dough. Olivia was super kind and patient. It was fun to watch her roll the ice cream!

Great ice cream served by friendly, courteous staff! Fun place to stop for ice cream! Very clean. It is not quick, but it’s well worth the wait. Take time to just visit or watch them work while you wait.

Love this place! Ever since sweet swirls closed, there was not a rolled ice cream shop near me. Totally Rolled Ice Cream opened up and it’s been my fav place for rolled ice cream 🍦 super creamy and not too sweet. Staff are always friendly.

How fun is this concept!? This is an ideal dessert location for everyone. There are options for vegans too! The menu can be overwhelming with their favorite combinations, but don't be afraid to create your own. I ordered the Totally Cookie Dough, my sister got the Totally S'mores, and her boyfriend go the Totally Brian's Funky Monkey! You could literally taste the campfire in the Totally S'mores.

The vegan menu had more than one flavor, and the menu says it's made with cashew milk. They also offer vegan add-ins. Side note, vegan options do have an additional charge.

After ordering, you get to watch the assembly of your ice cream / non-dairy treat! Kind of like Coldstone Creamery. Overall, this was a fun place to visit for a treat. The facility is clean, and the staff friendly. I would recommend visiting.

My visit to totally rolled on 1/4/22 was amazing! Not only was the ice cream outstanding, despite being busy, the employee who helped me was extremely friendly to me and all the other customers in the store. I will definitely be back as soon as possible!

Delicious! My first rolled ice cream experience and it was amazing. They were extremely friendly. I got the funky monkey which had banana ice cream, marshmallow creme, snickers and caramel sauce. Soo good!

Ice cream was outstanding, but beyond that, the staff made the environment one the best experiences I’ve had in Des Moines. We had never been to a rolled ice cream place so took quite a bit of time looking at the menu. The staff was kind enough to check frequently if we were ready, but never made us feel rushed. They continued to talk with us as they made our ice cream. Will definitely be coming back.

I'm particular when it comes to ice cream and this was very good. The texture was smooth and very flavorful. Will try more flavors next time.

Yum! Who doesn't love ice cream! What a fun experience to watch your ice cream being made in front of you! I created my own and did a chocolate base and added chocolate chip cookie dough and oreo! They had a huge variety of fruit add ins, candy & cookie add ins and other fun things like pretzels and chips! They had tons of sauces and flavored whipped creams.
The owner talked about having vegan choices and how he plans on adding more vegan options.
Not only do they have the Mills Civic location but a truck that they take to events.

I had to jump on here and leave a rave review immediately after finishing my last bite. I had the S’mores flavor and wow! They toasted the marshmallow before adding it to the mix and it gave the ice cream the smoky goodness of a real s’more! Thanks for the friendly service and amazing ice cream!

This place has a great selection of mix-ins, and they don't skimp out with how much they add too. The rolled ice cream itself is really excellent.

Lots of vegan options for mix ins, and the staff were very friendly. I really enjoyed watching this be made, and the unique texture of rolled ice cream is pleasant, though it may not be to everyone’s taste. Very nice on a hot summer day. I also tried them at their food truck, and I was quite happy.
