I don't often feel compelled to leave a review on a convenience store, but the brief interaction I just had here with the young man working 3rd shift (I wish I'd thought to get his name) was so warm and authentic, I got into my car in a far brighter mood than I was in when I walked into the store.
It was just that normal type of late night chit chat that I've experienced a million times, as far as what was said. But this dude was just absolutely as sweet as he could be. At 11:50pm on a Sunday, after 60+ hours this week in a demanding service industry job, I really needed a pick-me-up like that.
Not gonna lie, y'all: if I was still managing a business (ANY business), I'd be in there high-key trying to recruit him!!! Congrats to whomever made this hire. 👏
