Perry's Steakhouse & Grille

This place was amazing. We just gotten off a cruise with all the drinks and food we wanted. We found Perry's on the way home. This was a really great place. The staff was awesome. The service was Amazing. The FOOD and DRINKS was absolutely the best I've had in my life. I've eaten at a lot of places. You must try this place. Book a table ahead of time please and you will be in Heaven.

I took my parents to Perry’s following my move from San Francisco back to Alabama. It was well worth it for several reasons.

We were seated in a dining room with a glass wall separating us from the main dining area. I thought it was perfect. It was a quiet room, but still felt a part of the overall dining area because of the glass, ceiling to floor. The service Kyle gave us was also just perfect. He was very attentive.

I had the flight of wagyu steak. It is hard to go wrong with wagyu. But, this was superb. It consisted of three 3 oz. selections - Texas wagyu, Nebraska angus wagyu, and Japanese A5 wagyu. Unbelievable flavor and quality. If you’ve never tried wagyu, this is a place I can fully endorse.

My parents both had filet mignon and lobster. I tried theirs. Again, delicious.

We all ordered different salads so we could sample. My mom’s Caesar was one of the best I’ve tried. And, she doesn’t like anchovies. So, my dad and I got to eat them. I had the beet salad, one of my favorite types. They nailed it with lots of feta and some radicchio lettuce and grapefruit as well. My dad had the chopped salad. It was perfectly dressed and seasoned and delicious.

We ordered one side that should feed two, but we ended up taking some home after the three of us couldn’t finish it. And, I almost forgot, we had the peppers and calamari appetizer. Honesty, at first, I just tried the calamari without the peppers and thought it was mediocre. Then, I tried it with the peppers and couldn’t stop eating it. They also brought some bread and butter.

The portions were large. The atmosphere was perfect. The service was exceptional. And, the food was divine.

Get ready to drop about $450 for three people, including the tip. It’s a great place to enjoy a dining experience.

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday and our entire experience was AMAZING! The food was excellent as was the service. We had the crab cakes for an appetizer, drinks from the bar and two entrees (cowboy ribeye and cedar plank red fish) with sides. The sides are large enough for two. The Spaghetti Squash Primavera is great! Wonderful experience!

Went with a couple of my friends last night. Maxwell our server was absolutely wonderful. Drinks were quick to get to table. Apps were amazing and quick to get to table. I had the ribeye cooked perfect mid rare with Oscar style. 1000% recommend. The best and lightest mashed potatoes I have ever had. My God the dessert rocky road bread pudding was divine. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

I've had my Birthday here for 3yrs since I moved to alabama. Not planned ahead just a great place great food and the staff kindley give a little extra kindness. You can just feel the kindness and enjoyment in their jobs. Well, I hope at least, haha. Really do love Perrys steakhouse it the best.

Had a sales dinner with 25 attendees Perry's Steakhouse & Grill in Brirmingham. We had a private room so seating was prompt. The service was spot on as the wait staff was fast, friendly, and upbeat. Atmosphere is modern classic steakhouse, clean and classy. The food was incredible. The porkchops and steaks were the talk of the evening. The porkchop is 36 ounces so be prepared and come hungry and take so.e home. A couple comments that the steaks were incredible. All in all a great meal and experience. Can't wait to return and highly recommend Perry's Steakhouse & Grill in Birmingham.

First off, valet service at the door, fire pit patio, world class service (Good job Allison - best server!), lastly food was impeccable! Drove from Tupelo for this experience and it was worth it.

We did a back-to-back spree from Perrys, Chez Fon Fon, to Satterfield, comparing ambiance, service, and food!

Perry’s was the overall winner. Why?
It has a nice hustle-to-bustle feel without you, the diner feeling rushed. The wait staff (Crystal) was personable but respectful with an attention to detail. She knew the food items and wine, which allowed us to understand and appreciate the menu thoroughly.

We started with an ample bread supply, and the wine prices were standard with a wide selection by the glass

Our Appetizer- the crab cakes were moist with a crunchy exterior, tasteful but not overly seasoned

Our Main course- Lamb chops, Steak and Lobster pasta, and the filet mignon. The meats were juicy, tender, and flavorful. The vegetables were crisp and buttery.

Our Dessert- The creme brûlée was creamy with a crunchy Caramelized top, leaving a delightful taste for more. The Lemon bar had a lightly browned meringue with a chilly lemon bar pastry inside.

Our second local food critique much appreciated our leftovers our Cavashon Bella, licked her plate clean and barked for more.

Steak bites, filet mignon, corn brulee & loaded whipped potatoes were amazing! Highly recommend getting some rocky road bread pudding to take home. Maxwell is a phenomenal waiter. Great atmosphere and food for a special occasion.

You don't expect to go to a steakhouse and order anything but a steak. However, I took my son's advice and got the pork chop... and WOW what a great decision! The picture doesn't even do this any justice. Get the chop!

Went to Perry’s for my birthday mainly because my brother gave me a Perry’s gift certificate. Yum thanks bro !! The tempura lobster appetizer was amazing. The filet with crab meat and lobster tail was right on par for Perry’s, The perfect birthday outing.

Absolutely delicious!! On Fridays, they have a Pork Chop Lunch special. Today was my first time going for lunch and not my last. This restaurant is top tier from the staff greeting and seating you to the waitress handling your every need while dining and providing excellent recommendations. If you have never been, this is not just any Pork Chop. This Pork Chop falls off the bone, has been cooked and seasoned to perfection, and is topped with herb garlic butter, served with a side of delicious whipped potatoes and apple sauce. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I can’t wait to go back and try more food and drink items.

Management and the server were phenomenal as a meal wasn't made quite right the first time but they corrected the mistake and handled it very nicely. Highly recommend Birmingham Perry's and the food was among the best out there! Calamari, scallops, filet mignon, lobster, cheesecake and sides are all fantastic. Thank you Perry's!

Classy steakhouse with very creative menu items and reliablly delicious steaks and seafood. What is also reliable seems to be the staff's ability to get lost at key moments, like when you need another cocktail or the kitchen neglected to send your steak accompaniments. They are really close to being really amazing but the service seems to just fall a little short each visit.

Went to Perry's for my birthday dinner and had the best waitress ever, Rachel. She was so personable, attentive, and helpful. She made my experience special by giving me a signed birthday card and patiently describing the menu items to me, helping me pick the NY strip and sauce trio.

My birthday dessert (the lemon bar) was still a tad frozen so I gave the food a 4/5. Would be more like a 4.8.

Overall, I loved the food...it was the best steak I've had in a restaurant. But I really think it's the staff that make the place top notch.

We were celebrating an engagement and birthday when we visited Perry’s. Allison our waitress, was amazing and made our night extra special! We had the legendary pork chops, the filet mignon with chargrilled blue point oysters, truffle steak fries & mushrooms. The Banana Foster was a perfect dessert! Highly recommend and ask for Allison!!

For our 45th wedding anniversary we went to Perry's for dinner. The evening was the most enjoyable dinning experience we have ever had. Thank you to our server Jordan and everyone at the restaurant for making our evening wonderful.

The Pork Chop was absolutely the largest portion of pork I have ever had and it was incredibly good. Smoked and spiced to perfection. Amazing value at $49. Service was exceptional at the bar.

Very out going place to go. The food was good and the service was good as well. I love the whole atmosphere in the place!!!
