Glad that Northwoods has begun to reintroduce their line of fat free cheeses. They taste great ( better than reduced fat cheeses on the market). The fat free line melts well and even browns. I have missed these cheeses and am delighted to have them back

The people are what makes this shop! The husband and wife team, along with veteran part-time staff were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and even recommended tourist attractions for the remainder of my vacation.

Northwoods is a cheese company that caters to deliveries but they also have a showroom with a small but quality line of cheese, cheese curds, chocolates, honey and small gifts.

We received a gift basket purchased thru Costco....Chipotle cheddar/4 ounce bar was included in the gift.It was soo good!! I’m wondering where I can buy it in Southern California?

I received a gift basket costing $150. in which these Northwoods tubs were the only "cheese food" (their words) offering. Big disappointment!
The one on the left was horrible. Tastes like: salt, whey, chemicals (in that order). The one on the right was less offensive.
Because of the response I will add that yes this is a real review. I received the two items pictured yesterday. That is my photo below. Putting out product like this is unfortunate at best.

In a review of Barbara Weiner inquiring where products from Northwoods Cheese Company may be purchased in California, the owner posted the following which is a part of the reply:

"Dear Barbara, thank you for reaching out to us regarding your enjoyment of our Chipotle Cheddar bars. Because we sell gourmet cheeses, it is very hard to find our cheeses sold in grocery or retail stores. We try to maintain the uniqueness of our products by limiting where it is available."

I was most likely re-gifted a 3.75 oz. "BRIE" from Northwoods which is a "PASTEURIZED PROCESS CHEESE PRODUCT". Since when is such a product a "gourmet cheese"?

Camembert cheese? How can you call it that? Have you ever tasted one? I doubt it. Call it cheddar or American, but NOT Camembert. Ingredients: Cheddar, American then let's mention Camembert and call it that too. People can't tell the difference. What garbage!
