Nice game store with excellent customer service! My son played in a Pokémon event and forgot his coat there (in December, in Wisconsin). I called a few days later hoping they had found it. We live a few hours away and they were gracious enough to ship it for free. Thank you!

I love games, I always have. this place is cornucopia of them. Ample room for campaigns in the back. A visual feast of statues of goblins and dragons and all kinds of oh my. They have figurines aplenty and so many books for DND and assorted to keep your inner kid skipping with glee. Lastly, it is right next door to Zen Ramen, which has food so good your entire mouth will dance with joy. So feed your mind and body and walk away happy.

Neat game spot if you're looking for anything board game/D&D. My exposure is limited to purchasing board games during the day when no events were being held, but I found the store clean, staff helpful, and shopping experience efficient.

Had a great selection of trading cards and a great atmosphere! Everything was organized and easy to find. Definitely a nice place to go to! Lots of board games as well, a little something for everyone in there I'd say.

(I don't know too much about Warhammer and other miniature/model based tabletop games personally, but they had a lot of figures/miniatures/paints too. Definitely worth a check if you're looking for that.)

What an awesome store! Everything a tabletop gamer could ask for. Super friendly and helpful staff. The table set up in the back for people to play at was great. The renaissance of all things "nerdy" means we have more cool stores like this in which to indulge our habits and enjoy our hobbies. Excellent spot!

There are several local game stores and this is the one I play at most frequently. They have friendly staff and a wide selection of tabletop, board and card games. They also have a really nice play space. They help organize local play groups for various games. I highly recommend if you are on the east side of Madison to give them a try.

Very versatile store for whatever card game you play. Friendly people and atmosphere. You can tell that the people enjoy working and being there. They have tournaments almost everyday just check their Facebook page for schedule of tournaments.

This was my first time there and it was wonderful watching everyone that was playing different kind of game and contest against each other and swapping cards they have a lot of good stuff in there check it out and if you're into playing Pokemon and rolling dice with the games that they have there that's the place to go to compete against other people. Being that is my first time there I don't know much about it but I know that the people that was there playing the games was so very nice very nice.

I started learning Magic the Gathering about 6 weeks ago and this place and been amazing! The employees have been very helpful in getting me going and the community has been very welcoming, helpful and patient as well. Very lucky to have it so close!

Great local game shop with tons of inventory! Ended up here because other shops in the area didn't have what I was looking for. Will venture back here again when I have the coin.

The dice are absolutely gorgeous, and the customer service is A+! The dice are expensive but no more than any other dice store with incredibly quality stuff!

Its the best game store in Madison for its community. Always has space for tabletops and very accommodating staff. Commander multiple nights a week with a very consistent turnout. Tons of board game and DnD stuff if thats your jam. Also prices for buy/sell are probably the best in town.

Been to many stores across the country and so far this place is the best for buying a list of Magic singles. They found cards quickly with their inventory system and these were cards I couldn't find anywhere else. Very impressed.

The crew is always quick at getting orders together! Usually within 2-3 hours my cards are ready for pickup. Most stores nearby I wait a day or two. Great when you need an upgrade fast 👍

Really welcoming atmosphere. My kiddo participates in the the kids D&D sessions and loves it. Good selection of games.

I have to 5 star this joint. No ones perfect, people will always have poor experiences everywhere, but personally these folks have always been upfront and reasonable with their products. 'Freight logistics' has been an increasing issue and product can be hard to recieve(and usually in limited quantities). I will forever be a brick and mortar kind of guy, and if you support your store your store will support you. They get what they can and I love that they have finally been receiving digimon product even if limited! Lgs is a dying breed and we have to keep it alive. They have nifty discounts and worth chatting them up for events to join your favorite game community. Cheers and I'll be back for more digimon!

The new ownership has made a huge difference. We've been visiting since they moved to this location. But it was getting harder an harder to find what we wanted and our visits were becoming rare. We heard they were under new management so we took a trip down there. It's like a different store. They have a great selection, the game tables had people at them again, there were demos of the games out and the staff felt welcoming. We found a handful of things we'd been looking for, and when i asked about something I didn't see stocked - the person I was talking to said he'd order in a few copies for the shelves. that's a good approach. We'll definitely be back again soon. The two things we judge a game store on are a wide selection of games (more than just Magic) and staff that is friendly and non-judgy (I hate when you get that "are you sure you should be in here" look). Misty Mountain now meets both those criteria. Well done.

My girlfriend and I came in as openly inexperienced with board games and the gentleman behind the desk was SO HELPFUL. Gave recommendations, answered questions, and helped us pick something out based on our taste. We love the game we got and will be coming back to get another game he suggested!

I love coming here to play Pokémon everyone is so friendly. Excellent place to be!
