LOVE this shop and especially love Erica! The shop has all the products you need, not just quantity but quality. I haven't seen as much quality, even in surrounding cities with a more diverse population and definitely not anywhere near Amherst. Erica is also a fabulous hair dresser who is funny, kind, genuine, sweet, caring, knowledgable, and gentle. I usually got sew-ins but have also gotten braids (pics attached, please ignore the faces I was making and my cluttered apartment) but I NEVER had any pain or discomfort after. I barely felt anyone in my hair! She also managed to do my natural hair which is very thick and course, making it feel so soft and moisturized. Highly recommend! Oh and she also taught me how to manage and care for my own natural hair!

Erica is wonderful and so knowledgeable. I've never felt pressure or received a bad recommendation from her! She has some super cute wigs too like the one in this pic! My sister is in the background, and her hair is also courtesy of Head Games.

HGBS is a real gem in Amherst. Erica (the owner) has *amazing* advice for all kinds of hair! I LOVE the way my hair looks and feels (wasn't always true!) because of the store's products and the tips she shared with me. She really makes a genuine effort to get to know you and I definitely look forward to every visit I make here.

Wonderful place! I've been coming here for more than several years. Not only do they have great products, but a helpful staff that will explain how products work for your specific hair type. My hair health has greatly improved since I've started coming here.

I highly recommend Head Games Beauty Supply. The lady is so sweet and knowledgeable. She is delivering orders right now! I called with questions, she had answers and the products. I got frustrated because I couldn't figure cashapp out and gave up. But my boyfriend called her 2 days later, she remembered me and what I wanted, delivered everything that afternoon plus threw in a little fun gift.

This is the reason I chose to start my Lock journey with her. She is very forthcoming about appointments and is extremely flexible as to where these appointments happen. This is one of the best kept secrets in Amherst. Head Games has every need for ethnic and Black hair. There are a huge variety of brands and products. If you need hair, wigs, or amazing advice, Head Games is a full service beauty supply space. One of my favorite local spots.

I called them earlier today thinking they actrually did hair but I was incorrect and they are just a hair product store. Nonetheless the women I spoke to was AMAZING she gave me many peoples Info and numbers to contact that could help me with me dreads, and asked me to follow up with her in a few months. She went out of her way of what they actrually do there and helped me out!

The woman who runs the place was nice, informative, and super helpful. The selection was good and there's going to more coming in. An excellent shop for natural hair needs.
