I love this food, they obviously do not cut corners when it comes to spices and other ingredients. Everything is always perfectly tasty.

Tasty food for Indian cuisine made in America. I feel as though some of the homesick reviews do not take this into consideration. Of course a croissant in France would taste better than a croissant in Massachusetts ya know?

I used to live right next to Paradise of India and would have their food all of the time. I moved last year and have been searching endlessly for a new Indian restaurant that is half as good as this one, and I'm struggling to find it. The food was always delicious, and the workers were so nice. If I wasn't a plane ride away, I would definitely make the trek. I miss this place so much!

Extensive menu, well priced, and well worth it. Do not miss out on their lunch specials. Its convenient to everything as well!

UPDATE - I just made a catering order for school event and they were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to ensure we were within our budget! Thank you so much Paradise of India and I’m super excited for the food!!

I have to give them 5 stars. This restaurant has been in Amherst for so long which says a lot about their quality and consistency. The food is amazing and portions are great! In terms of authenticity you can be assured your getting authentic Indian food, I went many times with my friend from Mumbai and she was always impressed with the food!
This is a family owned local restaurant which makes me feel even better when I eat and do business with them. Their staff is very friendly and accommodating and I've always felt taken care of when I eat here.
The restaurant itself is small but very beautifully decorated and clean!!!
I have never had to complain about a dish or call for an error in my order!! I order a lot of take out and I cant say the same for other restaurants.

I also know that this business participated in a program during the pandemic to make meals for low income people in the town of Amherst. To me, that is enough of a reason to give them my business and go out of my way to eat there. When times are hard and people step up to help, that's when you know their true character and I believe these people are an excellent example of great Americans!!!!

Have had two delicious meals from here recently ! All were excellent! Sauces were great with spices that tasted freshly ground!
Tonight we had veggie pakoras , papadum, chana masala and chicken shahi korma. Generous portions and just plain delicious! We’ll be back real soon!

This is the best Indian food and most authentic indian food i've had. The Samosas are very good and the aloo tikkis as well. The chicken tikka masala and paneer kulcha are so flavorful and tasty. 10/10 experience will order again!

Best local Indian food! The chai is the best I have ever had and extremely affordable on a daily basis. I wish they sold it by the pot. The service is amazing and the food is very authentic. The samosas with the 3 dips is out of this world delicious. This place is a staple in Amherst!

This is my favorite Indian restaurant. The food is always good - very consistent. Tonight it was very busy and service sucked. My sister's dish was not good - rubbery chicken. The rest of our meals were perfect. I've eaten here at least 50 times and never had a bad meal. I'm hoping they were just a little overwhelmed Tonite.

Arrived here for studies and was craving food from back home so I visited and ordered take out, the food here is very authentic, the dal makhani and lassi is just like how it was in India, will definitely be back here soon. 10/10.

I love this restaurant. We eat here frequently and I think it has the best Indian food in the area. Prices are very reasonable, especially for lunch. The service is friendly and it is family owned. They just renovated the windows on the street side and the restaurant is brighter for it. Give it a try. You'll be pleased, I'm sure.

The food is good, the comparison of this with the restaurants in India is unfair, the food is not that spicy or hot but the taste is decent, anytime if you don't want to cook and want to eat Indian food its a go, they also added tea which is pretty decent.

This is the best indian food I've ever had outside of India, Very authentic don't listen to any reviews below 3 stars, as it seems they've never had real authentic indian food. The chicken tikka masala and the garlic naan are a must try.

My girlfriend and I have gone here for valentine's day, anniversary, my birthday, and like four other occasions, which is impressive for broke college students. We get the dinner special for two, which is a goddamn steal (two vegetable dishes, crap tons of naan, 2x samosa/korma, a meat dish and a tandoor dish, rice, and two desserts for 35 or 40 dollars). Dinner is delicious and portions are generous. Restaurant is family owned and the staff is family, and although not amazingly talkative, they are very nice and kind.

Also they comped us 2x dessert for my birthday. Paradise of India is an amazing place and I will be sure to stop by there whenever I visit Amherst. I cannot recommend them enough.

This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants. The food is always well prepared and the service is terrific. The folks who run the restaurant are always friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Paradise of India.

DO NOT LISTEN TO THE BAD 3/5!!!! This authentic indian restaurant is incredible. My roommate and I doordashed it randomly and the food came hotter than most home cooked meals. I am a college student and came here just to say how much I loved this food. LOVE AT FIRST BITE!!!! ❤❤❤

really awesome food! we got catering for an event with about 12 people, and the food was incredibly yummy. everyone couldn't stop raving about it. great price and value too.

At the Taste of Amherst I had bad luck with an appetizer but I need to update my review. I recently bought dinner there and it was fabulous. I would go back.

This is a very nice Indian restaurant. It has really good service. I usually order chicken tikka masala with garlic nan bread and masala tea.
Reasonable prices, great lunch menu which is cheeper.
