I believe that when I say we have been getting our papers and many other items from Hastings for 44 years, that fact should qualify as
a super excellent recommendation. The quality of anything we have purchased has been top notch. The staff is very pleasant, and ready to help when you need assistance. Also, it is fun to go in to the store..it is a mood lifting experience.

I was looking for a rolodex and or index box and had gone to Staples and Target.... No Luck!! These guys had it and more. I was able to actually look at the items and one of the sales people went into the stock room because he thought he had seen what I wanted. They were out of stock but will call when it comes in. Great service, competitive pricing, good selection and knowledgeable sales people.

A nice, old business in downtown Amherst. Lots of Amherst College souvenir gear. But had what I needed for office supplies when Staples didn't.

60 years ago we used to sit on the stairs inside and read the latest comic books,Mr Hastings allowed it because he knew we didn't have the 10 cents to spend, nice man.
