AC Hotel by Marriott Boston Cambridge

Had a great time staying here during a business trip. The hotel staff were friendly and professional. The rooms were clean. Parking is available at a public garage around the corner, which the hotel will validate for. I really enjoyed the park area around the hotel. It was lovely to walk around and see the wildlife. It’s also a close 10-15 mins walk to Alewife Station.

Great place to stay satisfied all my room needs. The only problem is that they don’t have truck parking it’s all garage parking and you pay per day. I would go back to the hotel but they don’t have anywhere for me to park my truck every month. I’m gonna have to find another hotel in the area.

This gem on the edge of Alewife is an awesome option for anyone who wants to stay near Boston or Cambridge and have a little peace and quiet at the same time.

It's easy to drive to without having to deal with the hustle and bustle of Boston traffic, but close enough that it's a short walk to the T train for easy access to the city.

The hotel itself is fairly new, so the building and rooms look great! The rooms are clean and have plenty of space.

Parking on-site is a breeze, and the hotel validates parking for easy access to come and go as you please.

The prices are fair for the location as well.

The hotel is in a newly built corporate park, with a few small businesses and clearly marked trails for biking and walking right next to a nature preserve. You actually walk through the nature preserve to get to the T station. It's the most tranquil commute to the train I've ever experienced in/near Boston.

Highly recommended for families or for those wanting to stay close to Harvard for events like Boston Calling!

I had an incredibly long day of traveling— multiple annoying connecting flights, multiple hassles at the airport and such; I was not in the mood for more difficulties. Upon arrival I was greeted with fascinating and visually appealing decor— instantly assuring me that I would adore my stay. When checking in, I had trouble with my bank and card; another setback I was certainly did not prepare for. The concierges’, Justin and Barbara, eased my mind and provided assistance that exceeded my expectations. Despite my troubles, they were understanding and assisted me in the check in process— assuring that everything was transparent and providing me support in solving my problem. They were patient as I made multiple phone calls, assured me that they were perpetually present for any questions. I am writing this from my room now— genuinely thankful and impressed by the professionalism and graciousness of the 2. I think exceptional customer service is under appreciated, and Justin and Barbara certainly deserve to be recognized for their prowess. I look forward to the rest of my stay, the expectations are incredibly high due to the staff I met— I am excited for the rest of my stay.

(Forgot to mention, the room is incredible as well! Beautifully designed and incredibly peaceful.)

Talk about being fancy, the best hotel I've stayed at in years! The location and environment is peaceful and walking distance to many places to go! Next time I'm in town, I'm staying here and would recommend!

I stay here often. The staff have been awesome every time and I've yet to have any issues. This last round I was put in a room right next to the elevator (sharing a wall with the elevator lobby) and my room was still perfectly quiet. I could hear a bit if my upstairs neighbor was stomping around & the water was loud when they flushed their toilet, but nothing that impacted my ability to sleep, which is really all I care about in a hotel.
Overall, the rooms are very clean and comfortable.

The bar has a nice menu and laid back vibe. Parking is expensive, but easy & includes free EV charging.

Really nice, seemingly brand new hotel in a great location for Cambridge and Arlington area. Wasn’t expecting much for a hotel bar on a random Tuesday night but the bartender whipped up a great smoked manhattan and the kitchen made some great eats. Recommend.

A very nice surprise considering not all pet friendly hotels are this nice, well maintained or as clean. I told the front desk woman I'd mention her name for being so amazingly wonderful in every sense of the word, but I can't remember her entire name only the beginning letters Su... not your average name like Susan or anything like that.
Room was clean and very modern, beds soft as a marshmallows cloud. I loved that NOT all there pillows were feather.
Fitness facility had great variety, the pool was small, but not overly chlorinated and was a comfortable temperature. Breakfast looked good, they closed an hour early, just as we arrived. Plenty of garage parking and easy access to travel roads. Not to far from train station, but a car would be helpful.

Surprisingly nice hotel at a great value right next to Alewife Station. Rooms very clean and high quality, staff very friendly.

Very modern hotel with clean rooms and good service. Rooms get cleaned every 2nd day which is becoming the new norm. Bar closes at 10 so plan ahead for a night cap.

The location can’t be beat. Close to the T to go straight into Cambridge and close to the reserve and minuteman trail. One direction city, one direction choice suburban green life. Rooms have everything you need. Self serve laundry on site. Gorgeous park directly across the street. Friendly staff. Sound Carries but they give you white noise machines. Bar has a moderate social scene. Gym on site and blue bikes right around the corner. Cute cafe an 7 minute walk. 18 mi Ute walk to Whole Foods and essentials. I love this spot!

Value: 3 stars, it was quite expensive when I stay here around the beginning of October but price was ranging around $250-300 per night.

Location: 5 stars, great place to stay away from middle of the city. There are multiple beautiful trail right in front of the hotel and near the hotel. The alewife train station is only less than a 10 minute walk. Easy access to a nearby blue bike station.

Cleanliness/service: 4 stars, only reason I didn't give this 5 stars it is because during my 5 nights stay here I have to bag my own trash and used towels for room service to pick up by leaving it near the door due to covid procedure. There weren't much of a room service unless you specifically ask for it. Other than that hotel room looked pretty clean overall

Noise level: 3 stars, the doors open and close really loud (must close really slowly in order to minimize noise), room service workers are loud when they are cleaning nearby so if you are a light sleeper and want to sleep in later you can forget about that. But if you are an early bird then you should be good.

Look/aesthetic: 5 stars, hotel looks pretty good and modern.

Modern Hotel with nice, clean eco-friendly rooms, comfortable beds, beautiful lobby and bar, functional elevators, and kind and supportive staff. The lady at the front desk was able to help us get a last minute booking at a fair price. If there's something I could complain about, it would be the sliding door to the bathroom likes to rattle, and the door to the shower does not close properly.

I've stayed at this hotel twice in the past - Nov 2019 and Oct 2018. It's a very stylish hotel, modern and sleek design touches throughout, which I found very appealing. I stayed in rooms with a king size bed both times - they were comfortable and spacious, the bed was great to sleep on. The breakfast buffet is really good, and some cooked-to-order items are also available. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The AC Hotel Cambridge is definitely on the top of my list for places to stay on future trips to Boston.

The hotel location is about 3/10 mile walk to the Alewife T-stop, with the path there going through the Alewife Brook Reservation, a very pretty natural area. It makes for a nice walk to the T-stop or a nice area to spend a little time outside.

Clean and spacious room! There’s a garage next door and you can get parking validated. The hotel is right next to alewife station to get into the city, about a 8 min walk.

Fabulous experience! Brand new hotel, super fancy rooms (I really want that shower in my house), and extremely clean. The breakfast was amazing and service was outstanding. The service at the bar at night was not that great, mainly because it was so crowded and they only had one person doing the bar and all the tables at the same time. Not bad enough to deduct a star though, because this was probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at.

LOVE this hotel! Clean, beautiful, but it is the staff that makes it one of the best ever! Anna remembered me from 9 months ago and she made sure my breakfast was so special. Zach, who started 9 months ago (we were his first event), remembers everything and is so helpful! The food is amazing and I love the European breakfast! I would stay here again and again!

Excellent hotel. The rooms are very nice and spacious. The desk personnel were all friendly and helpful.

Upon check in we discovered we had made our reservations for the wrong day. This reservation was through a third party, but the MOD did not hesitate to honor the reservation and she was an absolute please to speak with. Kevin was the valet when we arrived and he was funny, nice and super helpful. The entire staff was great to be around. Food was excellent. Our room is as nice as nicer than any non luxury hotel brand room I have been in and certainly as nice as some of the high end luxury properties I have stayed in. HIGHLY recommend!
