Anthony's East Side Deli / Boston Crunchy

I love this place! This is my favorite place to get lunch around. So far I've had their caprese sandwich, veggie fried momos, and cheese sicilian pizza, all of which was amazing. Cooked and seasoned to perfection. Staff is incredibly friendly and prices are very good. There isn't anywhere to eat inside but there are plenty of picnic tables on the sidewalk right outside. I will definitely be coming back!

This place was outstanding. They were super friendly. Our food was ready quickly - and it was outstanding. My gluten free sandwich was outstanding consistency (since often GF bread just falls apart), and both of our sandwiches were so tasty. We can't wait to return!!

How have I not found this hidden gem in Arlington yet ? Decided to try Anthony’s East Side Deli / Boston Crunchy yesterday and it was excellent. In fact, I just had lunch there again today. My husband ordered their Chicken Cutlet Parmesan on their braided roll. In fact he ordered it again today because it was so good. I ordered their Honey of a Sandwich which was packed full of fresh goodness and their steamed Momos. All incredibly good. Today I ordered their Crunchy Momos and also decided to try their Sushi - which they just added to their menu. I had their Red Dragon Crunch Roll which was incredible. Both Jeevan and Kess are so friendly and really care about their customers. Will definitely be coming back to try the rest of their menu - maybe tomorrow !

The gluten free sub is SO GOOD. I grew up in an Italian town and when I realized I'd never again have a crusty, chewy Italian sub, I almost cried.

But Anthony's has your back! I don't have celiac's, so I can't attest to whether there was no cross-contamination, but they were careful about asking if it was an allergy and made the sandwich in a separate area.

I included a picture of half of the sub. I couldn't wait and ate the other half before I remembered to take a picture. It tasted like my childhood. Crusty warm bread. So many toppings they were falling out of the sub. Delicious meats that I don't know the name of. Mmmmm.

Amazing caterers, they make the best sandwiches. Their rolls are so good. Would highly recommend to anyone doing an event or just wants a good sando. 5 stars.

Absolutely delicious momo! I highly recommend 😋 the spicy sauce is a kick of heat that mixes so well with the nutty herb sauce. Go get some Arlingtoners!

Incredible spot for Gluten Free sandwiches! Their gluten free Baguettes are tasty and dense enough that you could add condiments without fear of it falling apart (Gluten-Free eaters, you know what I'm talking about!).

There are lots of different sandwich options available as well that can be prepped this way too. The employees were very friendly too.

Highly recommend giving this place a go!

Whenever I order from Anthony's, I always get momos. The crunchy pork momos are my favorite and the BBQ momos are delicious as well. I like the subs (Spicy Italian with extra hots, yes please), but momos are where it's at!

Very juicy momos and good variety. Highly recommend their classic steamed chicken momos!

I tried their kothay momo today. It was so delicious that I was compelled to write a review again! Hands down the best momos in MA.

Momos are UNREAL. I live down the street and have been eating them almost daily lately. Very fair prices as well. Friendly staff :)

The new owners have started sharing their Nepali roots and now offer a robust selection of momos in addition to the regular deli menu. We sampled quite a few and all were amazing! If you haven't tried them before I highly recommend giving them a shot, and if you have, it's wonderful to have such an option in Arlington! Very friendly service as well.

Friendly service delicious food in an unassuming venue. Hidden gem. Amazing Momos in traditional flavors and modern takes (bbq and buffalo). Plenty of vegetarian options- which I appreciate. diverse menu from subs to momos to fried rice. Its my new lunch spot during work from home days. Would recommend!

Sustainability wise- they don’t use plastic for to-go containers, which I appreciate.

The Momo is delicious and comes in many varieties prepared to perfection every time! Even after eating them the flavor remains leaving me wanting to go back for more. I’m excited to try other menu items when I order again soon! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Excellent local spot. The staff are friendly and the service is speedy. Large selection of sandwiches to meet your needs. A surprising aspect of the place is that they serve momos! Some of them have an American flare of BBQ and Buffalo Chicken. They come in chicken and pork.

Best momos ever! They have a variety of different types, which I didn’t even know was a thing. High recommend their crunchy chicken momos and kothey momos. My mouth is still watering from them! Super nice owners, too. Will gladly give them my business again and again for all my momo cravings 😊
