Somerville Veterinary Center

The only negative is a lack of parking. The Center has no dedicated parking spots, while parking on the main street is rarely available, and all small streets around are by local permit only.

Great experience otherwise. Nice, clean, competent, very responsive.

My 18 year old cat was unwell and in need of end of life care. Everyone was absolutely amazing here. My cat was treated with care and respect. I was walked through the process and offered time to say my goodbyes. They were so kind and compassionate. And they are making me some paw prints as a keepsake. I'm going to switch from my current vet and start bringing my other cat here for her check ups.

I cannot recommend this place more. They have taken care of our two cats with such attention to detail and kindness, especially when one of them was very ill. He made a full recovery thanks to their support of his care.

I was scared about picking a vet but every technician here is sensitive, professional, and caring to my dog to make even uncomfortable things positive experiences. After the first visit, I trusted them 100%. They educate you on everything they do and every choice you have for care. Their web portal is thankfully modern and details my dog's future vet schedule as well as every medication they're on.
Update: 4 years in and I am still so pleased with their services. Their staff is so kind to my fussy dog and they take every effort to be understanding and empathetic to our needs.

Dr. Dylan Krowicki and Dr. Kelly Morin have both been outstanding veterinarians for my pup. They are compassionate, well-educated, and have always provided us with the utmost care. The vet techs are just as incredible! Office fees are reasonable and they’ll even communicate via email about questions.

Our experience has been great! Everyone on the team has been so wonderful. Great communication over the phone and at the office. Everyone is so patient—the vets, vet techs, everyone—it’s incredible. They’ve been so easy to work with and we are really happy going here. It can be so difficult to find a good vet, and a vet who is currently taking patients, so I feel really fortunate to have found this practice. Highly highly recommend!

They’re so lovely to my pup! She’s always excited to go there

I had been taking my pup there for about 6 months, I feel pretty confident it was a good choice. Our vet seems knowledgeable and caring and the assistants are gentle with my girl. Prices are high, but it is what it is everywhere.

I'm so happy about this vet center that I wanted to leave this review. We've been here a few times as we moved to the area recently. My sweet dog is so so anxious about the vet, but all the staff are so kind and patient. They are so easy to work with in order to do what's best for your pet. I brought my dog today, (yay for being able to go in again!) and they were so kind to her, so patient, and showed so much care for my girl, who has a lot of fear of the vet. The staff are friendly, and amazing. Thank you Somerville Veterinary Center for treating my dog with patience and love!

Recently moved to the Somerville area and Somerville Veterinary Clinic was the only place that was able to take my cat on as a new patient immediately, as opposed to be on a wait list for months. My cat was old and sick and they were EXCEPTIONAL when it came to her end of life care and her last day. All of the staff was incredibly friendly, informative, and supportive. I cannot recommend this clinic enough.

So my cat is a little over a year now. He’s been seen twice by this vet both times during the pandemic. We’ve been happy so far. My cat is in good health so far thank goodness so we haven’t had to get any expensive testing or anything which is good. Both well visits went well and were inexpensive. His shots were a little pricey so someone recommended petco to me for that so maybe I’ll do that for yearly shots in the future. But for everything else my family’s been happy. I’ll stay unless I have a reason not to.

We loved the staff. Such a great clinic, clean place. Shout out to the technician, Emily, and Dr. Raposo who were so nice and so helpful. Definitely will come back for future appts. with our cat Midnight

Both our pups get great care here

Courteous and friendly staff, and very accommodating! When one of my pets was sick they went out of their way to get them in to see the vet. All of the Vets are very knowledgeable and make sure to take the time to speak about any of your concerns or questions. Extremely patient with patients who aren't necessarily so!

So thrilled with the entire team at Somerville Veterinary Clinic. The vet techs are so personable (esp. Oliver!), the veterinarians return our calls quickly, and the front desk will answer any question they can, or find the answer for you quickly. We feel like they know our two kitties personally and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Somerville was able to get in me into an appointment late notice (on a Sunday!!) when my cat needed to be seen. The veterinary staff and technicians were so exceptionally kind. They explained everything, gave multiple price estimates, and answered all of my questions. Really excited to have found a new vet in the area.

I love this team. They are always kind, take time to answer questions by phone/email/in-person, are very queer-friendly, and timely with appointments. They also explain the charges and ask for your consent before proceeding. I'm so glad I chose this as my vet clinic!
