Its very convenient. They have very reasonable prices. Handicap access and helpful employees. The security guards where board of line harassing a girl in the store which I didn't like, regardless of what she did there was multiple times when you saw fear on her face.

What a wonderful grocery store! I especially want to thank the very talented artiste Manuela in the Bakery department who created my beautiful birthday cake!

I really do appreciate that they open until midnight, not just 11 pm or even 10 pm like the other Star Markets.

And I like the store overall, and most or all employees I've encountered at night in past year or so seem nice.

Star Market and I have a long history together. One of my greatest regrets from my first year living in Cambridge was that I didn't have the Star Market app. I could have been saving so much money! I could have known when the shrimp sales would happen instead of checking in person every day! But hindsight is 20/20, and I'm happy to be a loyal user of the app today.

Yes, Star Market is on the more expensive side for most things. I will usually go elsewhere (Trader Joe's, Costco, Hmart Burlington) for necessities that are overpriced at Star Market. BUT their weekly ads and app-exclusive deals can be amazing, and you can get ridiculously cheap or free things. 25 cent 5lb bag of potatoes or pack of blueberries? Free kimchi with the Saturday Sampler? 67c/lb stone fruits?

Whenever something I want is on sale (or free) at Star Market, I stock up. Especially during shrimp sales (it goes down to $4.97/lb, so I wait for that). And there's usually at least one good deal in produce so we're never lacking.

So yeah, Star Market is expensive if you're not using the app and buying everything from there. But if you use the app to plan out exactly what great deals you'll take advantage of, it can really enhance your food supply.

This location itself is spacious and nice, and I've always had a good experience interacting with employees. I always use self-checkout which works just fine. I would also recommend going earlier in the day for produce (especially if it's on sale), because usually at the end of the day only the beat up stuff is left (I'm looking at you, jalapenos).

I miss when it was 24/7. But it's still a good place to shop with good people working there. Alice is my favorite. She must be a workaholic because she also works at the Target nearby. I also saw a woman be very rude to a mother and her two young children and after the guest had left, one of the cashier's who's name I didn't get bought each of the boys a candy for being well behaved. Good people here

I have been coming here on and off for a long while now and the environment has changed to a better one. There is a young lady always walking around greeting customers and working efficiently. The change of management is what this store needed, I will be visiting more often.

The people who work here are kind, dedicated, and knowledgeable. Also, their "O" organic line is high quality and well-priced. It has taken a little time, but the stock is now better organized from when I first began shopping there. Visit early in the morning to beat the crowds.

Porter Star Market is a very clean store! It doesn't have any weird particular smell around the meat department that some older stores have which is a good sign. The staff is also very friendly and packs bags like champions. They're all very good employees that I can see and that always leads to a better shopping experience for me. The selection of products is great though the placement of some items is a little confusing (like bakery bread isnt in the bread aisle, Frank's Red Hot sauce isn't right next to Frank's sweet chili sauce) but its easy enough to figure things out once you've been in the store two or three times.

Writing this review specifically to s/o the gentleman named David who works in seafood. My man David walked around almost the whole store helping me find a specific kind of horseradish, also served me up the oysters I asked for. Excellent customer service, great attitude...give the man a raise.

I only shop at Star Market. I always use the Star Market For U app, and I always spend less money than I tried to. This location has great produce, and the manager has been very helpful to the individuals that I support in the community. A+!

I was very amazed by the Customer service today. The manager was the reason (he was a middle aged Caucasian male)...he and team organized lines and he bagged all my things and then he took one of my carriage to my car since I had two. May god keep these hard working ppl safe...May god keep all of us safe. Thank you to the manager who helped me today.

And my gift card wasn't going through so now I am sunbathing all cash items like WOW smh so he takes me to another register and proceeds to take of the who thing and to make a long story short he managed to find a way to get the card to work

Very well-stocked, clean, and open 24 hours. Business is booming at this place, though, so lines can get a little long sometimes. I won't deduct points for that, though, it's hard to get angry at them for being a successful store.

24hr grocery store is just magical. I go here out of habit now because of the few times I needed to go shopping after every other place had closed. If you stop by around 6pm most days, don't be surprised by huge checkout lines.

You can find pretty much everything here (not only food) and generally it has a vast choice of brands. Decent prices, cheaper than whole foods, more expensive than trader's joe. Deli is better thwn either two. There is typically some waiting time at cashiers.

Great quality and variety of products, convenient location and spacious parking lot that is free for 2 hours. Clean customer restrooms!

Over the last few years Star in Porter has become an outstanding market with great variety and best prices and price range. Can be very busy which means it is thriving. Great!

Awesome management, and awesome customer service staff and, yummy healthy food very well displayed and easy to locate for new customers.

Bought more instant lunch and snacks back to Randolph. Staff was very helpful. Adjacent to Michaels of Cambridge. Easy to find a public restroom by the meat section.
