Bluestone Lane Harvard Square Café

So nice! Friends and I decided to dine outside, and the atmosphere was wonderful, with someone playing blues-y guitar down the street. The food was so good - I got the athlete's burrito, and my friends got the chicken & bacon club sandwich and the Bondi smoothie. All the food was so good, but definitely get napkins - it can get messy quickly with the hand held food. The people were so nice. Would definitely come back here again.

Very pleasant experience here at Bluestone Lane! The food was delicious—beautiful presented, cooked well, and great amount of flavour. As a lover of scrambled eggs, I got the chilli scrambled eggs on toast. The chilli sauce on the side really elevated the dish. Loved the sprinkle of cheese too, it helped a lot. The egg itself was really good, just not as seasoned. But a dip in the chilli made it a lot better. The burgers were really nicely made, pretty thick! Potato wedges cooked very nicely; not too soft, but still crispy and seasoned. Server was great, no complaints. We ordered on our phones and paid directly on the website once we placed our order. Overall, very good experience here! A bit on the pricier side for brunch but still overall great

Solid coffee and delicious potatoes wedges with sweet chilli sauce. I typically get a cappuccino or latte, but yesterday I ordered a mocha which was so nice! I love coming here to treat myself, the service is fast and staff is friendly. I also love the bright and inviting atmosphere. There was one time I picked up 2 coffees to-go and the taste of one was sour, but that might have been an off day. Overall, a lovely cafe I will certainly come back to!

My now go to place for coffee, brunch all day or lunch. Love the digital menu and ease of ordering. We were prompted seated, food was promptly served. We weren’t rushed out so could have a business chat, while eating delicious food. We ordered the chicken wrap, extra potato wedges and carrots to go with our beverages -😋

Always have a great experience here. They have an array of coffee and drinks to choose from. The food has always been above average. Love their cold brew. Mostly order from the breakfast menu, but just had their chicken sandwich for lunch and it was fantastic. Best brunch around to my knowledge.

As part of an Aussie/American couple, this Aussie-inspired cafe gets the stamp of approval! The coffee and baristas there are great and make a strong, yet not butter nor burnt, flavorful coffee. The avocado toast actually has plentiful avocado on it and I was delighted to see the chili flakes and micro greens on top too. Also get the halloumi and poached eggs on top! Will definitely be back!

The food was really good! Takeout was promptly ready even though it was peak hour. It's a little on the pricier side as far as takeout food goes, so I would recommend dining in to enjoy the atmosphere and get your money's worth! That being said, food was well-packaged and still warm. My blueberry & pb smoothie kept cold too.

First, the staff is lovely and very accommodating. Shoutout to the nice staff! Second, the food was really good. I went there for my birthday breakfast and it was a perfect start to my morning. I specially loved the coffee, it’s very rare that I like both the coffee and food at a cafe so I was pleasantly surprised when my food arrived. I ordered the big Breakfast which was delicious. The only note was that the greens on my dish had a bigger ratio than the other ingredients; it felt like having a salad for breakfast haha. I’ll definitely visit again.

Absolutely delicious food for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Great flavors! Piccolo was perfect! Iced Milo was awesome! Athlete’s Burrito was one of the best brekky burrito’s I’ve had! Extensive vegetarian menu. Cool atmosphere in Harvard Square with live music outside.

Best mate bowl was delicious! Service can be a little slow during meal times, but the staff is quite friendly. Great decor and seating area, would recommend their grain bowls!

Best almond croissant I’ve ever had!! Food is really good and staff is friendly and attentive, coffee is amazing. It was our fist time and we were so happy, we had the lemon ricotta pancakes and BL burrito, everything was perfect 10/10

I went here with my wife for a breakfast the day after we landed from the UK. I normally go for a greasy fryup but considering the jet lag decided to go for one of the breakfast bowls which included a poached egg and avocado and a lot of mixed salad and grain. Not my usual thing but it was delicious and surprisingly filling!

The service was excellent. I suspect they may have had new staff compared to previous reviews. I couldn't fault it. The only feedback I have is the prices are LITTLE high, but then the food and service was great, so you get what you pay for.

I've been here a couple of times for the protein smoothies. They're delicious. Service has seemed a little lackluster but I will be coming back anyway to try their coffee, which as a coffee snob I can tell from smell without having tasted, is likely to be significantly above average.

Breakfast at Bluestone Lane was an absolute delight on the morning after a long journey from Wales in the UK to Boston. It’s hard to find healthy vegetable based breakfasts when dining out in the majority of places around the world so I was relieved and excited to come across this beautiful decorated and furnished cafe. My husband and I each chose the breakfast bowl, full of protein rich grains and fresh salad vegetables topped with a fresh poached egg. The coffee, EXTREMELY important when jet lag tugs at your eyelids, is the essential ingredient to any breakfast experience and the ambience, the style and the price at this on-trend establishment certainly promises perfect coffee. It delivered! If you like a simple cappuccino, I can tell you that both of mine (the second one brought to me by a cheery waitress was on the house!) were indeed perfection.

I understand that the establishment has of late received some less than satisfactory reviews. I hope this one will revive confidence and provide evidence that they’ve got that thing! Splendid staff deserve splendid praise.

Food was delicious, especially the pancakes! Would definitely come back again. Loved that they offered the flight of lattes so we could try them all. Matcha was our favorite. Although we did not get it in this trip, their Chai tea latte is the best I've ever had!

A welcome addition to Harvard Square! They know their coffee, both espresso and milk-based. We had the espresso (single origin Guatemalan this month) and a flat white with almond milk. The space has been remodeled by them as a beautiful café with table service and carry out. Full menu. Service was very friendly and professional. Beans and gear for sale. Australian vibe is fun. Can definitely recommend it.

Great cappuccino, came in a very pretty cup with latte art. Also a good place for the gram - since the lighting here is perfect! Nice place to hang out with friends. Music is very calming and goes with the overall vibe of the place
