Good food and sumptuous cocktails. The pizza was amazing! We’re just a little late to get to brunch so we had to wait it out and eventually had to get food off of the dinner menu. Not complaining but yes, check timings before you head in. Their espresso martini is on point! Absolutely perfect! Would certainly recommend a visit!

We had an awesome quiet Wednesday night dinner here with my friends. We were delighted with the service from Julia! She’s super warm and personable and made sure my friends and I were well taken care of. She also knows the menu so well and helped me pick out drinks. Highly recommend the paper cut drink or the golden mocktail. Thanks for making a great night!

Amazing good and great prices for the quality of the food you get. I am definitively coming back. Everywhere I looked at the food on the tables looked amazing. Worth your money for sure. The risotto was heaven on earth

Great atmosphere, plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options. Many fun and tasty cocktails and mocktails. Service was quick and very friendly.

Two of our dishes could've used a bit more salt, which felt weird cause we never cook with much salt ourselves but it just lacked a bit of a punch. That's not a bad problem to have, although some salt and pepper shakers on the table could be nice to add.

We had the Amish Chicken - OMG - what a delight! The chocolate chip cookies were awesome as well! If you have the chance - go for them - it is worth every cent!

Absolutely delicious. Gazpacho soup 🍲 was sooo good. Lobster Ravioli is to die for. Duck and rib eye was yummy.

Great hidden restaurant, didn't realize they had a whole basement full of tables and a bar. Very professional, calm atmosphere, great for a place to bring the significant other or just have a casual business discussion. Great variety of food too!

Shane the manager was amazing. Incredible customer service. Sat us at a great table. Party of 6. Food amazing. Ambiance fantastic. Food delicious. Our favorite restaurant in Boston. Don’t miss it!!

We went here for the $1 oysters and ended up getting some other food as well. The risotto was delicious and the chicken was juicy and cooked to perfection! I also got the mussels- i prefer them to just be the garlic and lemon the meat was an… interesting addition and a little overpowering in the dish.

amazing place. fresh raw bar, amazing and affordable oysters and clams and shrimp, everything is SUPER fresh. best pizza ive ever had. definitely worth the money and worth a visit. bartenders and servers and hosts are super welcoming and kind.

I love coming to this place with my friends. It’s such a casual comfortable place with really great service and cozy comfort food. I’ve even gotten to make friends with some of the servers there and I’ve never had a bad time at this place. The food is good and the drinks are good and most of all it’s a good time when you’re at Russell House. This would be one of my top three places in this city to go and bring friends both new and old.

Definitely try the lemonade! Never had a ginger lemonade before and I would definitely go back for one. Also had the lavender lemonade which was super refreshing.

The service was excellent - Katie was so friendly and accommodating for our pup. We enjoyed talking to her.

The calamari was spicy but refreshing. Grilled peach was also a great summer plate with ample prosciutto!

Seriously good place to have dinner & drinks in Harvard Square. There's no wonder why they also have a few sister locations around Boston that make up some of my favorites places to frequent. Anytime I'm in Harvard Square it's top of my list for places to grab a bite or enjoy some delicious beers on tap.

Super quick service even though they were fully booked! Everything was super yummy. Consistency is key. Had the same chicken burger in 2018, still loved it! The lobster roll was on point.

Went on a Sunday, the waiter was nice and was clearly the only person on the floor serving minus the bartender who i assumed couldn't leave the tending bar to help the floor.

Otherwise, it is a great place, decent prices and amount of food. It's worth visiting again since it is a chill place where you can have a conversation without yelling, "What?"

I really loved the Russell House Tavern! There were multiple dining areas that made the restaurant feel grand. My entire group loved our food, with a special shout-out to the brisket hash from the brunch menu, which was absolutely delicious! Oh, and we got oysters, which were some of the best oysters any of us have had!

Just stepped in for a quick drink. Upstairs bar was closed so we went downstairs. It's got an awesome upscale lounge atmosphere with a bunch of bar seating as well as comfortable table seating throughout.

Cleo was friendly and served us our drinks with a smile. Would visit again.

Food here was great. Perfect serving size for a meal. The drinks were amazing and diverse. I've never had drinks like this before. On top of us having great food and great drinks, our server was phenomenal. She was the best we had during our stay in Boston.

When you are looking for a lunch place and one suddenly appears you better take a chance on it! Great place, friendly people around and great service. Food another great story..everything we ordered was very tasty, and drinks..not to shabby 😉

My daughter and I were visiting the Cambridge area for the weekend and decided to add our names to the waitlist to eat outside by the heat lamps. What a cool vibe. Fresh air with heat and great food! Our server Victoria “Vic” was so personable. She even asked if we had allergies (which my daughter does) and voluntarily checked with the chef to make sure there was no cross contamination. We really appreciated her going the extra mile since we had an incident with cross contamination at a nearby ice cream shop earlier that afternoon.
There are so many areas to sit which I’m sure one can get a different vibe. They even have a meeting room on the ground floor for initimate gatherings/events. Such a cool vibe and affordable selections. We enjoyed our dining experience outside and people watching 😎. Highly recommended when you’re in the area.
