Harvest

Very nice spot right in Harvard Square. We went on Thanksgiving Day, so I’m not sure how reflective this fixed menu was compared to their standard menu, BUT everything was delicious! We both bourbon-based cocktails that were nice and balanced. My husband went for the traditional Thanksgiving food with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, etc and said that it hit his craving - nothing special or super fancy, just a classic Thanksgiving plate.
I got the cod and it was buttery smooth, paired with a delicious sauce and carrots.

I would definitely suggest going here with family as it has a nice ambience.

Haven't been to the Harvest in years, but a recent visit confirmed that they've maintained the high standards that they were known for.

First week of January we attended a small family & friends dinner, held in the cozy private room adjacent to the main entrance. Nicely appointed, comfortable setting, quiet. Lovely menu, with everything perfectly prepared and presented, plus an excellent wine and beer selection. Best of all was the professionalism and attitude of the staff. The post-Covid years have seen a sad decrease in quality service, but not here. Host/hostess, bartender, waiters, all were outstanding. It's so refreshing to be able to enjoy dining again! Looking forward to coming back.

My husband and I hosted our wedding dinner at Harvest this July. Molly and her team did an outstanding job - especially given she just started at Harvest a few months earlier! The food was delicious, the service impeccable, the location pristine.

We went to Harvest as a group. Everything was set up smoothly for us. To my big surprise, the food is remarkably delicious. I ordered the beer root salad, mushroom risotto and cheesecake. I loved every bit of it. I am usually not a big fan of cheesecakes, but theirs was great. Just the right portion with few berries, wonderful combination.
I would recommend this place. It’s so cozy. Kudos for the great food!

Incredibly impressed. Some of the dishes were amongst the best I've had. Fresh ingredients, great preparation, delicious flavor, fantastic all around. Cocktails aren't great but wine list is very good as well.

Beautifully served food, just the right portion size, with attention to detail and interesting mix of flavours.

The easiest way to get to this restaurant via streetside Uber drop-off is to put in Anthropolgie at the corner of Story and Brattle as the location and walk down the walkway between the two buildings. Harvest is about halfway down this alley, with a little neon sign above the door.

The brunch was yummy but looking at the dinner menu I'm a little bummed I didn't go later. If brunch was any indication, dinner must be just as excellent. The interior is a little small when the weather is poor and the outdoor area is unavailable, although the bar section didn't seem too packed.

Five star to this restaurant. Located in Harvard square this quaint place has a great ambience. Upscale and modern. We went there for brunch. Ordered ourselves some classic mimosas. For food salmon tarter and hash brown pizza. Loved the food and plating.
A place you will love to come with your family. Will not mind going there again.

Excellent food! Calm and quiet atmosphere, and excellent service from Taylor! My water glass never emptied either!

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday dinner! Service was wonderful; everyone on the staff seemed to be helping each other out. Food was delicious and came out quickly. Cocktails were lovely, and our server had great wine pairing suggestions to go with each of our meals. While a bit pricey, but the experience as a whole (food, drinks, ambiance, service) makes it absolutely worth it!!!

Harvest is down a cute little alleyway, nestled in the commercial district of Cambridge.

I had a Caesar salad, the mussels, and a side of fries. Everything was perfect, as usual. This was not the first time I had been to Harvest, and the meal is delicious and fresh every time. They have a nice selection of American food, including burgers and lobster rolls, salmon and chicken. The Caesar salad was fresh and had the perfect amount of dressing. The mussels were fresh and also delicious. The fries were the perfect amount of crisp and salt, accompanied by a mustard dip and ketchup.

My friends had burgers cooked to perfection and fries, which they wolfed down within minutes.

My only recommendation for waitstaff is to be more watchful and improve anticipation of the customer's needs (ex. providing teaspoons for the coffee and tea; bringing milk for the tea as requested instead of lemon). Other than that, the service was excellent.

Definitely give Harvest a try if you're in Cambridge or near Harvard. You won't be disappointed!

You can't go wrong here. This place has yet to disappoint. Their dishes are always tasty with a nice presentation. Their Swordfish Pastrami
caraway crumbs, pumpkin is really good! Different textures, subtly sweet, subtly savoury, sword fish taste fresh. Highly recommend their Vegetarian Chili & Eggs. Great portion of the dishes. Friendly staff and a good ambiance.

Love this creative and delicious restaurant in Harvard Square! So many innovative dishes.

Lovely meal with attentive service. Oysters to start (limited to 2 local selections), lamb tartare and honeydew melon gazpacho all well balanced and flavorful. Generous portion of scallops, roast duck was a little fatty for my liking. Chicken was juicy and well cooked. Solid nice meal in Harvard square!

Dec 2022:
Had a wonderful meal again. Salmon cooked to perfection with couscous, humus and asparagus. I was worried the humus wouldn't go with the meal but I should know to trust Chef Duetmeyer! It was a nice compliment. Mark, the manager made my experience by jumping in when needed. Not only be at my table but with a few other guests as well. It was packed on a Wednesday noon so I'm glad I made reservations beforehand.

Absolutely loved eating here. My server, Colleen, was attentive, friendly and very helpful. If you dine alone frequently, like I do, that isn't always so therefore I'd recommend this place for that alone.
However there is so much more to recommend it for! I went for starters and dessert because I saw their pastry chef, Joshua, on Best Baker in America. So I didn't want to fill up before dessert! The potato and garlic soup was robust and flavorful. My hibiscus pavlova was to die for. The mango sorbet had a small kick. The meringue was crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. And I could taste the hibiscus
The restrooms were clean and bright

I had the ceviche, it was not my favorite because is not a classic ceviche as I know. Instead of onions it has fennel, beside that the fish was really fresh. Then I had the Lobster Spaghetti and it was DELICIOUS! 100% recommended. Also they have a HUGE variety of drinks of any kind you will have a lot of options of wines from different places. I had an Italian Prosecco and loved it. The Atmosphere felt very classic or a little old way but it was good.

I loved being here. The service is amazing, and the servers are very friendly. The atmosphere is amazing. The outside sitting area is heated, which is very nice. The food is delicious too.

I went here for brunch with my friends. Instantly, the ambience and vibe of the place was super cute. I did go here over the winter, and I think the fall/ summer outdoor seating would be even more pretty.
Coming to the service, the staff was friendly and the service was great. It did take ever so slightly long to get our food. But it wasn’t a big deal.
The food for most part was pretty damn good. I would definitely go here again, to literally eat the same thing. We got:
Vegetarian chili- 9/10. I do wish it was a little more spicy. But it was flavorful nevertheless
East coast oysters: 7/0. I am allergic to seafood but from what I heard, it sounded like the oysters were not worth the price
Eggs Benedict: 9/10 well cooked eggs, salmon and very flavorful
Harvest breakfast: 8/10 we asked for over easy eggs, but it looked like it was slightly overcooked. The bacon was a little too greasy, but super crispy and yummy. The sourdough was lathered in butter and basically fried which made it tasty but also super crunchy and greasy.

Overal we did really like this place and will definitely go there again.

The food was delicious just too little of it for the cost.$$$$$$my sons took me here for my 60th birthday dinner. The waiter was fantastic. We had the wine pairing dinner. For the four of us the main entrée we were served included one portion of salmon and one portion of pork chop. Well, all are delicious. We were still hungry when we left this restaurant.

Food was TO DIE FOR. The mushroom dish was so good I wanted to lick the bowl. Tasted like thanksgiving stuffing. Our waiter, Matt, was super attentive and kind, and they wrote Happy Anniversary on our dessert plate in chocolate sauce (6 years!). Great place for a date. Amazing food. Amazing service.
