Rosemary truffle fries and bacon wrapped dates are very tasty.

I adore this place, it feels like a local hidden secret. Great fries and wonderfully sweet bartenders downstairs. My favorite place to end a night with calm and cozy vibes.

Great food (though small portions), large selection of beer and wine, unsure if cocktails are good. Food is a bit on the expensive side for a local pub (e.g., a dish can run you $20, be tasty, but not really fill you up), but atmosphere's good, especially downstairs at the bar (restaurant style tables are upstairs). Recommend.

This is a friendly place, usually full of students. The drinks are great and the food is better than it has to be. There's a full restaurant, Upstairs at the Cellar, with the same menu and another bar. Good music too, thanks to the bartender's iPod and his good taste.

I'm a fan. Comfortable local pub with good food, beer and service. Plus, the cellar pub's rock walls exude an old Cambridge atmosphere. Very cool. Great rosemary fries.

On the spectrum of sophistication, the Celler food lies somewhere between home-style food and haute cuisine, leaning more towards home-style food.
We were greeted by the owner of the establishment, Marilyn. She was charming and welcoming.
The food is simple, familiar, affordable and delicious. We started with Perfectly braised short rib tacos with shredded lightly pickled and spicy cabbage. Followed by ever popular masterfully fried Rosemary truffle fries and kale and Cesar salad. While waiting for our main course, mussels (from George's Island) and freshly made sausage in a tomato sauce over ziti, the chef, chef Yaz sent us the most tender and flavorful chicken kebab I have had in a long time. It was served with barberry and Roseland saffron basmati rice. (Roseland saffron is chef Yaz signature ingredient) and a side of fresh mint, tomato and cucumber and a touch of red onions salad / light lemon and olive oil dressing. The right way to eat this dish is; you mix the rice and salad and have a spoonful with a perfectly sized moist chicken kabab cube. It's savory, a bit tangy and full of flavor and truly refreshing. This was my favorite dish.
Chef Yaz is the new chef at The Cellar. She brings her years of experience working in variety of restaurant from the Plough to Clio and her very personal touch to every dish. We felt welcomed, received good service, ate well and left very satisfied. We will definitely be back.

Best gourmet pub food this side of the Atlantic. The chefs amazing dishes like lamb gnocchi and feta walnut flatbread are superb at half the price of some pretentious European wannabes.

Food was great. They have this pita and hummus as appetizer which j enjoyed very much. The service was great. I will definitely come back

Cash only bar. Humas was great. They ran out of flat bread on a Saturday @7pm but subtituded with tortilla & pita chips.
