The staff are friendly, know what they have and dont have in the store, and actually know about home renovations etc. Way better than a home depot! Prices good too. I am very happy I gave this place a shot

Two very friendly and helpful employees, who quickly knew they didn’t carry the item I was looking for, spent time helping me think how I could find as well as sharing alternative solutions to the challenge I was trying to solve for. Neighborhood gem that is now my go to hardware store.

My family had been shopping at Connelly's since I was a child. They are always helpful and kind. Always feel welcome when shopping there.

Great hardware/paint store. Well stocked, quality products, but more importantly able to give good and helpful recommendations.

Easy walk to a great local hardware store. Skip those chains when able and shop locally- support those who help support us! It's nice to be recognized and to share a laugh- just shopping somewhere that people genuinely care as they've a vested interest in their business and community.

Awesome place! I needed to cut some locks off my window bars and instead of trying to up sell me $40 bolt cutters that were too large to store long term, she allowed me to borrow the store’s pair. Saved my bacon! I will be returning and telling others to come as well. Thank you again!

I'm normally intimidated to go into hardware stores, but the employees here were really helpful and kind! We had a piece of PVC we needed cut, and they helped us out for a very fair price. I'll definitely be returning :)

When your memory lets go of the combination for your masterlock from 30 years ago AND you still have the lock and want to use it-what to do? Research and my local long time hardware store came to the rescue. They are responsive and thoughtful. Just another great place to find kindness wrapped up in 'everyday service'. Shop here first !!! I ordered an item online, Amazon delivered it with the wrong screws. I contacted Amazon and their response was, "We couldn't figure out the right size screws for that item". Home Depo didn't have the screws either. I took it to Connelly Hardware, not only did they help me figure out away to use the item, but they put it together for me as well. I am so happy they are still around. Excellent service, reminds me of the good old days !!! Thank you !!!

Nice neighborhood hardware store for a variety of household tools, paint, cleaning, kitchen utensils and yard tools. Very nice and knowledgeable staff.

I love this store and the people who run it. I always make it a point to go there when I am in Brookline. (I live an hour away). Modern products with an old-fashioned style of service that can only be enjoyed at a family/owned business. Highly recommended.

Worker didn't stop until he found a solution to our problem, thank you!! Completely unlike our experience at True Value where we barely got in the door before they told us no, they couldn't help us and no, they had no interest in suggested an alternative to us.

Excellent neighborhood hardware store, with a Brookline touch of better service. Support your local hardware store even if it costs a few extra dollars! It's well worth it. Only hardware store that I know of that will repair a screen window too

Stopped in for a door draft strip
And they didnt have any out. So i asked. they had them in the basement. I got a great tour of the basement. And got what I needed to complete my job.

I needed a very specific item and not only did the store have it but the woman working (the owner I think) helped me look for it! She was very helpful and it was quick and easy!

My go-to for all my last minute costume design and crafting needs. Staff is very helpful and they always have what I need.

EVERYTIME I go to this store, the staff is both incredibly helpful, and nice - 👏👏👏.
