On my recent visit, we started off with the flamboyant Grilled Portuguese Sausage, arriving ablaze at our table. Contrary to its seemingly dry exterior, it unveiled a juicy, fat-laden interior, with a crisp outer layer adding a textural delight. The clams in olive oil and garlic wine sauce were also exquisitely cooked, with the simplicity of the seasonings allowing the freshness of the ingredients to take center stage.

The Bife a Portuguêsa, a wholesome ensemble of fried steak, ham, and fried egg, was hearty and comforting. Even though it came across as a simple dish, the quality and flavors surpassed any typical steak and eggs combo at regular diners.

Casa Portugal epitomizes the essence of homely Portuguese food, offering excellent, no-fuss dishes and swift service. The eatery's philosophy of minimal seasoning ensures that the ingredients' natural flavors shine through, truly showcasing the essence of traditional Portuguese fare. Looking back, my only regret is not discovering this place sooner. A revisit to explore more of their menu is unequivocally on the cards.

Very good choice for Portuguese food. We had the Octopus and Garlic Shrimp. Will have to come back and try out more dishes. Very nice decor, clean restaurant and friendly service from our server Kevin (thank you!) . Highly recommended.

As someone who grew up in Portugal I always love our meals here. They are pricey but authentic. I recommend the robalo, vitela, pasteis de bacalhau, polvo, feijoada- we love coming here. The only plate we would not recommend is bacalhau a bras.

To my surprise, the octopus was Special of the Day as it is not a regular menu item.

Hands down, this was a great choice. It was cooked to perfection...tender & tasty & paired perfectly with the red potatoes.

This was our 1st time here & he enjoyed his lamb chops as well. Nice pink center, tender, juicy & explosion of flavor with every bite. His palate was happy too!

Great seafood. Authentic Portuguese cuisine. Highly recommended by Portuguese friends. My wife got a daily special of octopus. I got a pot of seafood: fish, clams, mussels, octopus, squid, and shrimp. It was delicious. We will definitely come back to this restaurant when we are in town again. This will be a destination place for us now.

Delicious Portuguese restaurant with good service. Bacalhua grilled was a little dryer compared to other places but still flavorful. Definitely get the lagareiro version. The seafood pot was also very good. Save your stomach for a little dessert since it is absolutely worth it.

We were delighted with our experience at Casa Portugal. The food was delicious, from the appetizers to dessert. The wine selection was quite reasonable, with many options of vinho verde available. Service was prompt, friendly and professional. If you are around the Cambridge area, this is a great option for dinner or a vast Sunday lunch.

Restaurants like these are my favorite hidden gems. They had plenty of seafood choices, and everything was fresh. Nothing disappointed. The white sauce on the seafood platter was perfect.

Delightful restaurant in inman square. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Didn't take reservations but there was no wait when I went in for dinner ~745pm. Their seafood is amazing. I had the salmon pictured below and everything was as good as it looked. I loved how olives came with the bread too! Everyone was extremely nice. I know I'll be back.

Tried the fava beans w chorizo, the polvo special of the day, the pasteis variados, arroz duce, and the natas. All extremely delicious and flavorful.
Very authentic, everything cooked very well and had all of my favorite childhood dishes.

We went there on our visit to Boston. We chose them because the dinner menu had the items we wanted to try. It has indoor and outdoor seating. Quaint little place, bright and cheerful. We tried the Bacalhau á braz (cod fish with eggs, potatoes and onions) and Febras de porco grelhadas (grilled scalloped pork with spicy garlic sauce) We also ordered a pitcher of sangria. The food was very fresh and delicious. Of the 2 the pork was the winner! The sauce on it was awesome. Not spicy hot but spicy delicious. The sangria was filled with fruit and very good.
Waitress was friendly. Place was very clean. We would go there again.

I had the Dourada Grelhada - Grilled sea bream with boiled potatoes & vegetables and my son had Medalhas de Bife - Fried steak medallions, fresh mushrooms, in mustard & wine sauce and everything was cooked to perfection. Even though the place was packed with long waiting line and they where shorthanded for waitresses they did a excellent job of getting customers in and out and providing best service that they can.

Great family owned restaurant with great dishes and affordable prices. Minimal frills and fresh dishes that have you leaving satisfied.

Typical Portuguese tavern serves authentic traditional dishes. Mostly seafood. Some days of the week has fresh sea fish. Fine house wine and great sweet to close with.

Terriclfic neighborhood gem, and pretty reasonable by Boston standards. Excellent wine selection, too. So many great seafood choices!

Very cute family style! Not too expensive either!! This is my first authentic Portuguese meal in my life, and I’m glad it was with this gem!

Each time I visit The food is always delicious and reasonably priced. The server was very attentive and we had a great time.
