Fantastic experience! Went in to copy a key, cost was around $2, very fair. BLAZING FAST SERVICE! Went in and out within 1 minute with a new key. Street parking out front.

Super helpful in the paint department. Used 26 colors to complete this mural and my order was made with ease using a suggested app by Benjamin Moore. List color options by importing image of my design. Paints were exactly as ordered. Thank you!

Love Ace! They always smile when I come in and are never bugged by my endless questions about what to get for my various DIY projects. They have a great selection across the board.

Had all the home accessories i was looking for. They also cut a new key for me. Usually when i have keys cut they don't work the first time. The key they cut had no problems. Helpful staff and knowledgeable.

This is a classic neighborhood hardware store, completely crammed with stuff. Things are a little hard to find, but the staff knows where to find whatever you need. They literally have everything, and if they don't, they will order it for you. I love that I don't have to go to Home Depot every time I need painting hook or something like that. Plus they are right across the street from JP Licks so I usually go by and get a frozen yogurt or hot chocolate when I'm done at the hardware store.

Guys are old school JP, but don’t let their gruff exterior for you. Very knowledgeable, super helpful! My experience has been that between the two hardware stores in downtown Jamaica Plain, both are very good. Each store has its strength and weakness is but which ever store you choose, remember that it’s best to spend your money in the neighborhood in which you live. It’s important, it’s essential in fact, for the residence of Jamaica Plain to support all of the businesses up on Center Street. Trust me on this I’ve lived through ups and downs and fortunes increasing and fortunes reversing. We must support our local businesses because when things get tough if your local businesses close, the real estate value of your home will be vulnerable.

Very friendly folks great customer service. Still a place in my community that have great prices and not astronomical prices you can't afford to purchase anything. Would recommend this place.

Love these guys. Same friendly faces year after year. Owner is local and works on the selling floor. I still come to this store even though I've moved from the neighborhood.

The store is feels cluttered and slightly disorganized, but the staff is friendly and helpful, and they are well-stocked. As an added bonus, the store takes Bicycle Benefits, and there is a nice bike rack just out front.

Less like going to a stuffy store; it more feels like going to your Uncle or Big Brother's place so he can show you what you're doing wrong with your home improvement attempts. Always eager to help all I have to do is say this is what I'm trying to do what do I need to buy and they point me in the right direction!

Customer service is the strength here. As soon as you enter the store a knowledgeable associate asks what you need and they always know right where it is. The place is packed with inventory, they must have everything.

This store can be intimidating if you happen to be in there with a bunch of contractors, but everyone is friendly and helpful. They can also recommend great places for anything they don't have.

Great place and location, guy was super friendly and helpful. Needed replacement bulb, good selection and prices.

Best little hardware store in town. They were the only ones that could make my car key right. All for little over $3.
