It was a proper knees up to celebrate King Charles III’s coronation! The BBC was on in the front and back room of this darling shop. A table for the bairns to decorate crowns with “jewels” added to the fun. (If you go another day, decorate-your-own-crown kits are for sale) Unfortunately I couldn’t purchase the fascinators worn by the ladies hosting the tea tables or the sparkly tiaras worn at the registers. (May I suggest you add them?) All your favorites are here - Emma Bridgewater 🥰 real UK Cadbury’s chocolate, greeting cards no one else is going to have, just brilliant! God save the King…and the Bees’ Knees! 🐝 Thank you for the scones, the coronation chicken sandwiches and the Victoria sponge. Well done! 👑

What a lovely shop, and run by an absolutely wonderful group of ladies! They carry my favourite tea, in addition to some of the most charming handbags I've seen in a while.

I am so impressed with Bee's Knees and the terrific women who own this business. Although I have admired their products for a while ( I have a weakness for English pottery), I finally made a first purchase just recently ( a set of Emma Bridgewater 1/2 pt mugs). The shipping was fine and the packing was perfect. Oddly, one of the mugs had a chip on the bottom...a disappointment. Not really expecting the service I received, I sent an email to the shop and, to my happy surprise, I received a speedy response from Lucinda one of the two owners. I am so delighted to now have a replacement mug --- charmingly perfect! Thanks, Girls! You have made me ( and my two daughters who will each receive one sweet mug) so happy!

Beyond the stereotypical British imports, they have hand-stitched tea cosies and sewing bags, all kinds of table ware, cards with a British sense of humor, and much more. AND they have the obligatory tea and Hobnobs and the like. Friendly service too.
