Silver Unicorn is one of the best bookstores in the area. My 7 y.o. son just loves this cozy place - they have a pretty good selection of children illustrated books, chapter- and young adults books. Always a good selection of fiction and non-fiction. The only cons - there are only a few books in the art section, would be good to see more

Very neat little shop! I had a smile on my face as soon as I walked in. Found my copy of Finding the Mother Tree right away. The ladies working there were helpful and friendly. They ordered a copy of Walden for me.

It's unassuming from the outside, but what a gem! Great selection for adults and kids as well as art supplies and board games. My favorite part is a tiny kid door from the entrance to the kids section. It feels like magic

The Silver Unicorn Bookstore has friendly folks, great service and a good selection of books for all ages. While it's a small store and can't carry all books what they do have in stock generally provides an excellent choice.

I've been able to order a book through them and have it within one or two days. And they always have a great selection to browse and tempt you.

They have a lot of meet-the-author events that are fun to attend and with COVID they're now doing these via zoom. They do a lot to support local authors. I love having an independent store in the area, and try to purchase through them instead of using an online retailer.

I discovered the Silver Unicorn Bookstore while they were closed due to Covid but still offering orders by delivery. They have been an amazing source of joy for me as they have helped me discover books for myself, my toddler, friends, and family. Always time for a new book!

This bookstore is a great addition to the region. The books are well curated, the store is welcoming (particularly to young children who can't keep their hands off the store's beautiful children's titles), and the owners seem to have a great relationship with local authors judging by their robust calendar of author events. As a resident of West Acton, I'm particularly excited by the store's early commitment to programming for the local community including a chance to meet a school committee candidate and the upcoming pajama story time.
