Highly recommend this hotel for solo trips or family vacations.
It's a meticulously maintained establishment with a riverside setting and a warm, welcoming staff.

The presence of 4 elevators impressed me, ensuring quick service with short waiting times.

The room I was assigned was generously spacious, featuring a separate living room and bedroom with a luxurious King-size bed, TV, and all necessary amenities.

A well-equipped room including a microwave, fridge, and coffee machine. Upon request, the hotel promptly provided a baby crib, greatly enhancing the convenience for my little one.

The attention to detail was noteworthy. The thoughtful SMS from the hotel's registration team, seeking feedback on comfort, added a personal touch.

A delightful surprise awaited at check-in with complimentary water and cookies. The hotel boasts additional amenities like restaurants, bars, and cozy relaxation spaces, complete with a lobby coffee machine.
The pool, jacuzzi, and gym are impeccably maintained, enhancing the overall experience.

While my stay was thoroughly enjoyable, the unexpected parking fee was a drawback. At $43 per day with in-and-out privileges, it felt relatively steep (perhaps a bit pricey 🫰).

Despite this, my satisfaction with the overall experience remains high, and I plan to return.

Welcome greeting upon check-in was wonderful. Received warm chocolate chip walnut cookie and water upon arriving. Wonderful room and very pleasant housekeepers. Great dinning with friendly and accommodating staff. Spectacular views over the Charleston with crew boats--a constant happy reminder of my past sculling days. The pool is the hidden gem that we discovered on a recent trip which allowed us a truly relaxing experience. Easy parking and easy to use TVs. A world class experience.

My experience has been amazing thus far upon checking in. Ashley has been the absolute best! I double booked and she cancelled the extra room without any issues. I’ll definitely stay here again. Excellent service all around!
Btw: Although, I haven’t eaten them yet but I’m excited about the chocolate chip cookies.

Location is convenient especially with free shuttle to surroundings. Room (after complementary upgrade to 15 floor) is impeccable, beautiful river view, quiet, clean and spacious. Staff is friendly and helpful. Far exceeded my expectations and would definitely come back.

This hotel is amazing! From its architectural design, to its amenities, to the welcoming cookies, to the clean-stylish rooms with great views of Harvard College, to its bar and restaurants, pool & hot tub, Conference rooms, to its location, to Its Networking to the many diverse business people that visit. Let me not forget give a shout out to the great staff here as well.

Thankful!! The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel staff was amazing, very helpful and friendly. The food was amazing! The jazz club was super fun! We had a great time this weekend!

As soon as I walked into this room from the glass elevator, I knew I picked a good hotel.

The rooms feel a lot like embassy suites (especially with the Murphy bed). It’s also the only Hilton in Boston besides the newly-opened Canopy that doesn’t feel dated (the other Hiltons have negative reviews for that problem, and I almost booked the intercontinental instead because of it). It would be nice if they didn’t turn off the water while I was staying here tho, but that was just bad luck :P

As a Starbucks fanboy, I know it’s always nice to have cookies. So nice touch DoubleTree.

Only complaint (but doesn’t dock stars away) is that parking can be a little dodgy.

For context, I’ve previously stayed at the Marriott Copley Place which has valet parking; I might as well switch to Hilton after this.

My wife and I missed our connecting flight so we were stuck in Boston overnight. We stayed here and the staff were amazing. The room was great (and the little things made it even better: like the yummy cookie, soft pillows & great water pressure in the shower).

My favorite hotel to go to! I'm from Boston and have always admired this hotel. Great location and great service. Parking is very expensive, $47 a night. Views from this hotel are fantastic. Service at the desk between 1 to 10 I would give a 7. They could do better at the desk but overall great hotel. Consider me a regular

The room was excellent! We had 4 people and it was so comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel! I was visiting my son at MIT and the location was perfect.

I stayed at this property for 2 nights as a mini excursion from New York to see a different side of Boston within the area, Cambridge. The location is perfect with the train station being a 20 minute walk from the hotel, I was able to experience Cambridge living, and it is also super close to MIT (one subway stop). The hotel offers a lot: shuttle service to Harvard Square, Copley Square, and the aquarium. In addition, a rooftop restaurant called Over the Charles. The waitress named Maria from Colombia was super nice and very attentive! The front desk staff: Sophia (very friendly), Tania (took care of any of our concerns), Derek (checked in on a daily via text message), and the two night auditors (a lady and a man that I did not get their name unfortunately) were all amazing! The cleanliness of the rooms was really good. I would stay here again without a doubt, 10/10 - I recommend!

This is a great hotel with wonderful staff. The rooms are spacious, location is great and walking distance to Cambridge. There is a parking garage onsite. Good option for a family that needs more space than just a standard hotel room. Will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

I just stopped by this hotel to ask some questions about a later stay. I was impressed with the lobby and bathroom area as well as the staff. They were very helpful and accommodating. Additionally, the location is great.

Perfect place to stay when visiting friends and family in the Harvard Campus area. Excellent shuttle van service to/from Harvard Square, Aquarium, & Copley Square. Pleasant walk across the River Street Bridge into Cambridge then up Putnam to Massachusetts Ave too. Convenient walk to Walgreens, Whole Foods, Duncan Donuts, & Trader Joe's for munchies and travel necessities. Extremely helpful and attentive staff. Catch the shuttle bus from or to Aqurium T stop or water taxi drop off from or to Logan to make the start & end of your Hilton Double Tree stay more fun & memorable!

I enjoyed my stay here! The Staff + Customer Service was excellent. My room was clean, above average, and had an excellent view. The restaurant and bar offered a wide menu with many different food offerings. The rooftop bar was an excellent place to grab a drink.

Well trained desk and food service staff with great attitudes. Enjoyed the river setting, and quick Uber access to all tourist activities. Grandson gave rollaway bed a 5 star. Great AC, very comfortable room and good housekeeping. No traffic issues with airport tunnel closure.

Great property close to Cambridge. Rooms are clean and modern. Great treatment as a Diamond member. Staff is engaging and professional. Multiple food outlets on site and plenty of parking. Highly recommend.

The breakfast was utterly phenomenal! There were even roasted walnuts, fresh pecans, homemade granola, French toast, omelets, Greek yogurt, fresh fruit, grilled zucchini…it was impressive!

There’s also a lovely pool.

The walls are thin. That I didn’t like.

But the place is beautiful, and the amenities are amazing!

Everyone was excellent! Service desk, Scullers Manager Marla, Stephanie from Concierge desk, and Kassia at breakfast! Great location and rooms !
