Tony's Place Italian Restaurant and Pizza

I like all the employees on the take outside they are very nice to me.
I have known them for many years.
Today I went in and asked for two slices of pepperoni with sauteed mushrooms and onions.
They put a heaping amount of onions and mushrooms on the grill and after they put them on the pizza they put it in the oven for a few minutes and it came out very nice.

Love the old school Italian vibe and food at Tony’s. Great service at the restaurant with very friendly waitresses. All the pasta dishes are awesome, the pizza is top notch. Good wine list and the French bread served at the table is always warm and delicious. Love going to this restaurant with my wife.

Took the ole ball n chain there... Food was probably the best ive ever had (ball n chain thought the same) also met a man named Elio who might have been the manager, regardless of his job title he was more than friendly and made us feel like family. Great place, Great family ran joint. ill be going everytime im in town

Awesome service great food this place been around forever owner elio sr his son elio jr the cook Oscar been there also since the place opened everything just so perfect my go to pizza and restaurant for lunch and dinner , easy parking family and kids friendly u be amazed always busy love love the place ......

Pretty good pizza 🍕 I had a prime rib that was super delicious 😋 I'm trying the chicken Parm next time

My wife and I moved to Boston a year ago and are preparing to move further away. We ordered a large cheese pizza with pepperoni while we were packing. I am truly sorry that I had not discovered this place sooner. The pizza tastes like my childhood. It was incredible. Best pizza I've had so far in Boston.

Pizza crust is perfect, crispy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. Delivery is fast and pizza came hot! Pasta dish was also great 👍

If you miss the old school, neighborhood restaurant vibe, this is your spot. Great pizza, done the right way. Surprisingly large menu with something for everyone. Great family owned business, wish these were easier to find.

Good food, quick service. Haven't had there pizza but there pasta and subs are great.

The restaurant sometimes closes earlier than what is listed on Google so just be aware of that.

Every meal that I have had at Tony's is wonderful. Their pasta and sauces are delicious and cooked just right. I have also had the baked haddock and the grilled swordfish which were excellent. The pizza and salads are great too. Tony's warm bread is served with meals and it is the best. The staff and service are excellent, highly reccomended!

Gone there with my husband for lunch and the food was delicious. The waitress was really sweet came to us often to make sure we had everything that we needed and wanted. Going to go back. Loved it!

Our server was more the pleasant, the chicken picatta superb, ravioli more than delicious. The pleasant home type atmosphere and all the staff deserve 10 stars. Hats off to the chef's. Very easy to get to with ample parking.

My husband was taken to VA w roxbury (been unresponsive for houra..was starving and needed something quick. Googled and aaw a pic of Tonys Pizza and i said this pizza looks good so id give it a try. Usually all pizza is eatable riggt? and after today i didnt care. I quickly picked it up as it was litterally around the block from VA. I walked in and 3 guys greeted me with a smile. I saw Parma procuito in the front case and i immedially perked up. Coming from an Italian all i can sat os this placr js definiyely real Italian. I Asked for hot pepper and a drink from thr case paid and was on my way. Took the pizsa to my car and opened the box. I smelled fresh basil and i could have started eating but i had to get back. The crust looked so damn good. Tasted Wood fired..maybe it was maybe it wasnt but the cruat tasted and fekt wood fired ..the cheese had perfect amount of salt and the sauce had a homade taste. Honestly prob one of the best pizzas ive had in a long long long time. Wish i lived closer...but i definitely know where im going the next time my husband gives me a scare. Incredible Pizza. Thank you fot a nice surprise on what is prpb one of my worst days ive had this yeat. Just delicious. (Sorry i didnt take a picture. It was too good to stop eating) for all u locals in W Roxbury consider yourseleves lucky to have this place as a go to pizza place. Just WOW

Located near the VA Hospital, W. Roxbury, this is such a comfortable place to eat should you have to be there. Great food, people and service. Love, love love the shrimp, angel hair pasta dish. Prefer white not red sauce so it's perfect for my taste buds. You actually could walk there it's so close. Thanks Tony's for feeding my family and I during a lengthy hospital stay for my vet hubby!

We stopped in at the recommendation of our host Carroll, from the Fisher House at the Veterans Hospital. It was a Blessing to have a hot delicious meal served with a smile. This family from the Hills of NH. Thank you.

We did catering for our twins baptism. Reasonably priced for huge portions of delicious food. Elio Jr was awesome through the whole process. Highly reccommend.

Bartender was one of the coolest people I’ve ever met. The people at the bar, all very nice and bring you right in. I stopped here before a men’s league hockey game to get a little liquid confidence, and had a good time with these guys. Will definitely be back next time I play up here.
