Very nice little coffee shop. The location is great and has a decent amount of free parking around and near the building.

The inside has lots of seating and is nicely decorated in a minimal style, and the space has lots of natural lighting.

The works are friendly and the offerings at the coffee shop are good. I got a rose latte and a cinnamon oat cookie. The latte was 6-7$ after tip and the cookie was 5$.

The music they play isn’t too loud and the general ambiance is nice. One of the best coffee shops in Asheville in my opinion :)

Farewell nestles into the South Slope like a cat napping in the sun. The coffee is well roasted and the shots perfectly pulled making drinks rich and balanced without bitterness. My pastry didn’t rewrite the book on sweets, but settled nicely between sweet and buttery. The staff approached their craft with care, each drink served hot but not scalding and tastefully adorned. The ambience cuddles into the hillside, plants draping from windowsills and espresso machine group heads growing organically from the countertop. Parking is the only challenge; prepare for a multi-block hike and perhaps to wait for a seat. This locale attracts knitters and students, workers and friends. If you come you’ll find yourself curiously content to stay a while.

Delicious and quality food + great service. Has indoor and outdoor seating (not covered). Dogs can stay inside as well, assuming they are well behaved/calm.

I highly recommend the plain croissant (warmed) and the Veggie Quiche (warmed).

wow. this coffee shop was AMAZING!! I literally just typed in "coffee near me" on google when I was in Asheville and when my friends and I showed up to this place we were in awe. this has got to be the best coffee place I've ever been to. from the coffee and plants to the industrial look and great service, this place was incredible. you will not regret coming here. the coffee tastes so good and I would drive all the way from Florida back to Asheville some day just to come to this coffee shop. it's absolutely fantastic!

delightful coffee shop! i have been here twice. the espresso is very strong, which is how i like it. they have cute merchandise, and a really nice indoor outdoor feel. basically open air so you don’t have to worry about covid. staff is friendly. no almond milk, but they have oat and macadamia milk. i would recommend it!

Such a classic asheville coffee shop! Great coffee, I like the dirty chai and they have good lattes with fun flavor syrups, if that’s your thing. The food is very good, they have mostly pastries and desserts.

This is a great place to get some work done, it’s typically pretty quiet. However, on a Saturday, it will be pretty busy and social.

The coffee can be pretty expensive, and parking can be sporadic, but they do have some spots.

Overall, an excellent coffee shop that I return to again and again!

Great people working here on a Saturday morning. I got a veggie quiche. It was delicious. But my drink was outstanding. I got the iced matcha with their honey rose syrup and wow! Best ever.

I’ve been on the hunt for a new study spot & this place did not disappoint! My latte was great & the ham and cheese crossiant was BOMB! Service was kind and welcoming plus the outdoor seating area was a major bonus!

Great little corner coffee shop in the South Slope. Friendly staff, creative drinks, calm and welcoming atmosphere. Open 7:30am - 8pm is a bonus!! Don’t miss!

Very very good coffee. Got a latte and honey rose latte, both great.

Pros: Espresso was fantastic, as well as the flavor offerings. House made syrups a plus. Wish they had a couple more, but the ones they have are great. They weigh their shots and are well trained. Great art on the latte. Vibe inside is clean, nice place to do some work and hangout. It's posh. Good service. Great amount of seating inside. They sell coffee brewing equipment and coffee beans to take home. Also, the cups they use for take-out are great quality.

Cons: Not necessarily family friendly as it is very much white and black inside, very calm. Not a bad thing thats just their style. There is parking but can get crowded and limited as its on a street corner on a hill. Near Pie-zaa and other places, it can get busy around there.

Dang good coffee, ours was from blue wave, but both drip and espresso were such great flavors. They rotate coffee beans from all over, but obviously have very astute buyers. The ham & cheese croissant was serious level of croissant game. The spot was packed and we can see why, super cool modern spot. Excited to revisit and stay a while next time.

Adorable place with friendly service and delicious coffee! A bit small but plenty of seats and a great ambiance. Cappuccino, chai latte, and americano were all great.

Beautiful environment. Great selection of tasty bevs & bites. Local art on the walls. Planted potted in local pottery (hello, Ali Ruby Ceramics!). And purchases are cupped & plated on special dishware.

Simply excellent. The coffee was superb, the vibe and music perfect, and the service was very friendly. I also really enjoyed the plants and wanted to take them all home. The garage door open to the sidewalk and the sunken industrial interior add to the flavor of the space. Great little coffee spot.

Such a cute cafe! They were really nice, and the space is lovely. Highly recommend the chai latte and their turnovers. Definitely worth a stop!

What first hits you when you drive/walk up to Farewell is the excellent build out. You get strong Mediterranean vibes that start melting any tension you may be feeling. Once you walk into the cafe, you're greeted by a friendly barista ready to help you get a nice beverage. I had an ice coffee, black with no sugar, and it was excellent. My fiance had an ice matcha that she said was fantastic as well. The ambience was so nice, we just took our time enjoying the space. Highly recommend.
