Banks Ave Bar

Staff here are really great & personable. Large open courtyard out front which is always a bonus. Beer selection somewhat limited but enough for mist everyone in your group. Large liquor setup. Interior pretty large and open with high glass walks for views, nice sized L shaped bar & plenty of floorspace for seating and dance area.

Both the cake and yeast doughnuts were delicious! And they have great options for gluten sensitive doughnuts as well.

Really friendly bartender. He even told me about the minor league team in town.
Great values on drinks. The Later crowd was very welcoming! I would come back here in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

Awesome place! There is a few games that can played and love that the menu is on a TV along with smaller menus.
The floor was really sticky for some odd reason and made it annoying to walk on the floor. otherwise really cool place.

Went there on a Saturday night, where the drinks were flowing, girls dancing and DJ Acolyte was dropping nice beats. Great place to unwind after long day at work. AK!

I went line dancing with some friends here and had the time of my life. There was such a friendly open atmosphere that made this seem like a truly safe place.

Stunning 💕 Went the Saturday before Halloween and it was SO busy. Honestly Scandals has become completely overrun by...a tamer crowd(?) and all the cool people potentially ran to over here. I only saw *one* group of bridesmaids the whole night and it was so busy you had to squeeze in between people to get around. Bar was understaffed and I felt bad for the dude who clearly wasn't going to ever get a break but that's just the story of 2021. 10/10 would absolutely recommend coming here.

The staff are wonderful and the music is good(80s-current). They have events all the time and welcome newcomers. The typical crowd is chill and very inclusive. They have three pool tables and a patio for drinking and smoking. They also very dog friendly. In fact, they love well behaved dogs.

My friend and I come here almost every weekend for the awesome bartenders and atmosphere. Its typically pretty laid back and on Saturdays they have a dj. Its a great place for pretty much anybody. Good vibes. Shooting pool, socializing, dancing, and the owner's dogs are sometimes there and I love to love on em. 10/10 would recommend.

Such a fun bar with pool tables, a dance floor, and drag shows!! Very inclusive, lots of seating or standing room, and great drink varieties. Always a good time when coming here!!!

Another place that I'm forever in debt to for introducing me to a wonderful new circle of friends. We always feel incredibly welcome when we walk through the door at Banks Ave. Bar - even our doge, who tends to be fussy in some public places, really enjoys it here. The staff here are incredible, and you'll never fail to have a good time at Banks Ave, event or no event!

One of the more popular bars after 11pm in Asheville. Good music, a lot of people to meet and good drink selection.

Banks Ave is by far my favorite bar in Asheville. The bartenders are always soooo friendly, drinks are stout, and the atmosphere is fun! Love when they do the dance parties on the weekend. It’s a huge plus that this bar is friendly to people from all walks of life. :)

Awesome, very welcoming bar for all! They have an awesome indoor dance floor with a MASSIVE door they keep open for superb air flow!

Great place. No cover charge. Free parking. Drinks are reasonably priced. Bar tenters are nice. Pool tables. Fun events. Clean rest rooms. Highly recommend.

Scott was my bartender and I absolutely adored him! Very nice establishment and friendly staff. Great shows too! I will be back if I'm in the area.
