Great initial telephone engagement with mechanic to schedule service. Reasonable price.

Bit too much ”impending doom” upselling attempted by person who handles checkout though. But you get that everywhere these days.

I am so fortunate I found the Organic Mechanic Shop for my 2008 Saturn. It was not previously repaired well . So I had my car completely looked over & run diagnostics to see what all was necessary to get in good working order and if critical, needed to be done immediately. The Service Advisor’s patience, experience & knowledge was extremely helpful in navigating me through the priorities. Everyone I worked with was very helpful, positive, knowledgeable and efficient. The Service Technician who worked on my car did a fabulous job , I feel like I have a new Saturn!

recently purchased a used VW and the team took very good care of us. They were honest with the pricing and patient when they answered all of our questions since it was our first time owning/driving a VW. They did an outstanding job of checking my vehicle for issues when I wentin for an oil change. There were many, enough to suggest that its time to get another vehicle, as mine is unsafe w/a major rust issue on the frame, even showed me the picture. It was terrifying to see how bad it is, but glad they were honest, friendly and professional. Im looking for a new ride, and I'll happily use their business again. Highly recommend. 👌

I only have good things to say. Even though the issue with the car was intermittent, the diagnosis was completed successfully, and the problem was resolved in a timely manner. This an older car, as well, so extra thanks are in order.

I am absolutely stunned at the level of customer service at Organic Mechanic. I only gave them 5 stars because there’s not an option to give them more.

I have had *the worst* trouble with shady mechanics for years, and I am beyond grateful that I have finally found a shop I trust completely, because I *know* they are honest and dependable.

My car had an oil leak that ended up making the serpentine belt slip off. We were right around the corner from Organic Mechanic, so we limped in and had them fix it.

Once we picked it up, everything was fine, until about an hour later, when the belt slipped off again.

Multiple very serious issues followed before we could get back to the shop.

It turns out the part was faulty and instead of throwing up their hands and saying “oh well” like every other mechanic I’ve dealt with in the last 5 years would have, they fixed the leak, the belt, and everything else that resulted from it. I cannot stress enough how much work they put into it. Let’s just say that these repairs were astronomical compared to what I originally went in for.

I will never take my car to another mechanic in WNC.

Efficient and timely. They gave me accurate estimates and good advice on spacing out needed maintenance to my vehicle so I didn't need to shell out 1200 dollars all at once. Sent along pictures of my engine as well. Definitely seem to be focused on keeping customers long term. Will definitely be back.

We broke down in Asheville. Some locals recommended this garage. They treated us kindly, did the repairs for a fair price, well, and I would recommend them to anyone needing honest, competent mechanics.

Very honest and transparent. I appreciated that they didn't want to just "throw a part at a problem." Took my car in, got new tires and got some work done on the engine. Needed to drive 1000 miles back to Texas and clearly they did a great job because we made it.

Wow, what an awesome experience! Out of nowhere, my check engine light came on and my car felt unsafe to drive. Fearing I wouldn't make it home, I took it straight to the Organic Mechanic shop. Their lot was jam-packed with cars recently damaged by flooding, and I knew they were short-staffed. I thought I would be hopeful to get the car back within 2 weeks. To my surprise and delight the car was fixed the very next day by 5:00 p.m. at a very good price. Can't say enough, these guys are so awesome! Trustworthy, professional, easy and transparent communication. This is my new go-to mechanic. Very grateful for y'all. Thank you!

I’m so glad I found Organic Mechanic. I have an older model Range Rover and was disgusted with my dealer experience in FL and NC and their outrageous claims I needed $14k in repairs This is the second time I had my vehicle repaired with them. First visit was for brakes and it turned out hundreds less than the dealer with quality work My second and most recent visit was for several issues including electrical, replacing a tail light and a failed inspection. Ricardo spent a lot of time figuring out what the problem was. His persistence saved me a dreaded trip back to the dealer. John was so great to keep me informed with daily updates. And took the time to explain what was going on and their plan of action. They went out of the way to save me money on parts as well. I highly recommend this establishment and found them to be straight forward and honest

I had a great experience at The Organic Mechanic. Unfortunately, there was no reasonable option for me to fix my vehicle. This car was dying, and I have known that for years. 2022, nor 2021, were a good time to get a "new" car. I put as much work as was reasonable for a vehicle, that I knew was not going to sell highly. Multiple Oil leaks, fried battery, bad alternator, worn down breaks, worn down sway bars, and a possibly roasted computer system. Organic Mechanic provided a very thorough explanation of what the problem could be and what parts would need to be replaced.

I brought my car in because the dashboard flickering on and off. Work could have been done to fix the car and was offered. I was given a detailed estimate of what it cost to fix everything.

It really didn't take that much for the repair to exceed what the vehicle would ever sell for.

I understand that some reviewers think the shop is expensive. But compared to the other shops near me, their price was only slightly cheaper or almost comparable. However, the diagnostics were detailed and accessible. Plus, since my car was dead, the two parts that were used to attempt the repair were covered. My money was fairly spent and I received what I paid for.
