Aston Park

Aston Park is a great little downtown park with nice walking trails through beautiful trees, a gazebo, playground with a climbing wall and monkey bars for older kids, and an excellent bench swing that faces the Blue Ridge Mountains for some amazing sunsets. Plenty of parking available along South French Broad Ave or in the green lined public parking spaces in the 360 Hilliard Apartment (go in and drive to the back near the Tennis Courts). But I LOVE that I can easily walk to this park and don't need to drive.

It's also great for events! I hosted a 100+ person event there for the new disc golf course with several booths, a bouncy house, a bike course, live music, and food. Kids and adults loved it!

The largest park in downtown Asheville with clay tennis courts, a shared basketball/ pickle ball court, playground, expansive green space and a six hole disc golf course. Aston Park boasts beautiful sunsets and easy parking near the tennis courts or along South French Broad Ave.

New disc golf baskets are sweet! Perfect pitch and putt course in downtown AVL. They've cleaned up this park so much over the past year or so. Great job!

Hidden gem minutes from downtown with gorgeous trees in all their fall splendor and gentle sloping hills for walking.

I enjoy watching people play tennis basketball. I actually married my husband under the gazebo in this park. People take their dogs for walks around the track I the park also. This is a great place for family and friends to hang out even your kids have a little play area to play in

Only public clay courts I have heard of. It was an interesting experience.

The park was full of lots of nice tweak er's they were Polite and did not steal anything from my Car. They saw that we were young so they Wouldn't sell us any dope I am very grateful for that.

The main tennis courts were closed today but there were two small courts that my daughters were able to learn on today. Fun time even though mostly shut down right now!

Nice little public park with a playground for kids and a free tennis court. A nice backboard is installed for solo tennis.

My son had a blast and I love when he is happy.

Cool park with ample parking. Definitely some good views as well.
I would say this part begins to be fun for kids 2 years old and older.

Great planning. This park can be used by the infectious disease center next to it as a make shift holding area/staging area. Highway access a plus.

Glorious! Lots of benches in the sun..warm weather. No restrooms available unless you have a code.

Beautifully maintained Har true courts. Online court reservations. Hit list if you're trying to find a quick match. On site stringing services.

Wonderful park. You can walk to it from downtown. Great views of the mountains and fun playground.

Park is fairly small but kids enjoy themselves here so that's all that matters.
