Great hidden gem, perfect for a quick restock! Found a mini split of bubbly which was just what I needed on my way back to the hotel. Friendly service, prime location!

Update after being here a bit we were asked to leave because of a show. Tall curly haired guy super rude! But the bar tender is great so we have the band $100 and staying to hang with the bartender. I see why the other reviews though, definitely rude staff on deck.

This is a small establishment that serves some wine and has retail part as well. It was very quiet and we were told we could get the beer that we've been looking for since we arrived in North Carolina and couldn't find so I'm very hopeful that that is the case. We were also able to find Spaten which is a delicious German beer. Very happy with this place and will be going back for sure.

Great place, try the charcuterie. Laid back atmosphere with numerous dulcimer's and homemade string instruments in the decor. It's our go-to place win in Ashville.

We met friends there for adult beverages, great conversation and to hear music. Alex, behind the bar was wonderful in helping to make beer selections. Band was good.

Our son and his new bride were married in Asheville in September 2014. It was a destination wedding so we hosted a Welcome Party for 125 guests at the Capital Club the night before the ceremony. The Weinhaus provided all of our beer and wine, including delivering it up to the venue the day of the party. Hunt was so great to work with--he provided great wine suggestions based on our planned menu and the wines got excellent reviews from our guests. We also did a combo of draft and bottled beer--all local to Asheville--again following Weinhaus recommendations. One last thing: We had no idea what kind of quantities to figure on for a party that size, but Hunt made estimates based on his experience and nailed it: We had maybe eight bottles of beer and two bottles of wine left over at the end of the night!

Working with Weinhaus took away the additional planning required to actually coordinate keeping our beer chilled and moving it to the venue on time. They were prompt, professional, and well worth it for the price.

Great selection of wines and super helpful staff. Family owned and operated, give them your money!
