Just had my baby and the nurse Michele B. In the baby ward is just amazing and fantastic! I had my daughter here in 2016 and it's been like night and day. The nurses from then acted like total jerks and refused to even speak with my dr about pain management for my section pain. The only problem i had this time was I asked the anesthesiologist to please give me medicine for my anxiety so I didn't have a panic attack he swore up and down I could but him in the nurse refused even tried to force the spinal on me without the medicine I ended up freaking out and having to have general anesthesia and missing my son's birth. Other then that this hospital is trying to do a turn around for the better!!

Ambulance took me to the hospital. Had flu, pneumonia and fractured skull from falling back and hitting my head on a parking spot bumper. They actually saved me. Also had asma.

We have seen the same pediatrician for 20 years. Very nice office.

Great place, my little sister and I was born in this hospital (1997/2002)

The staff took care of my mother in law, I like it

They get you out quickly.

Only positive thing I gotta say is Dr. Clark is awesome. But some of these nurses in the main ward are a bunch of cheapskates. They jiffed my buddy out of his tip after delivering food for like 5 of them. If that’s how they treat people handling the food they’ve ordered how do you think they are caring for your loved ones or you?
I hope someone does something to their food next time they order. At least have the decency to tell the guy you don’t have his money.

Most recently: broke one bone to lower arm, straight across fx, near wrist, NO displacement of either lower arm bones. Drove self to hospital, arrived around 3:30p, admission process in ER 'normal'. Wheeled to room 117, x-ray(s) taken. PA /c several other staff cam, said "l had broken a bone". PA examined lt arm, saw congenital bone formation and exclaimed break included that bone, too. An RN on my rt side told PA, "It's that way over here too"; no injury to rt side. Had a temporary cast applied to lt. forearm, and l was discharged around 8pm. NO assistance given as l slowly walked from the room to my car. I was unsteady, carrying several bulky items, had not eaten since early AM, no fluids. I used the wall for support. As l walked, l passed 2 charting rooms full of staff who stared at me as l left and drove myself home.
I saw the ortho Dr and staff Monday, more x-rays which l saw. A permanent cast applied. Way too tight, area pulsed all night as if a BP cuff was too tight. Called that office, instructed to return. A second permanent but lessor cast was applied. (On the way out, one of the 'nurses' instructed me to hold my left arm above my head "all the time" and showed me what to do. Didn't make sense to me; even a sling only supports an arm so the hand is above or parallel to the heart for edema.)
I kept having problems, my thumb was going numb as was my little finger and my middle finger ached. I called the office for advice, but they loudly accused me of "using" my arm. (I don't have help so l did use my lower arm to clench items of clothing against my body or steady a can while my rt hand opened it, but l did not, could not USE my arm, hand! I did not twist my wrist. The cast was too tight to move.)
When l went to have cast removed another x-ray was taken. One of the lower bones which had been parallel to the other was now overlapped on the other. My thumb had an "exploded tendon" (Per dr's evaluation) and I could not use it. I can not extend it; l have a claw...and my wrist is deformed. (Should work for Baylor's football games.)
Even though l am older, l used my hands. Now l can't pick up small things from the floor, hold things steady /s spilling them, or even do my ADL's as l used to do. I am disgusted with the outcome of something which should have been a 'no brainer' and disgusted with these fellow health care 'Professionals'. I can't forget bc l will live with and see this outcome the rest of my life.
