Sleep Inn & Suites Hewitt - South Waco

This is the second time I'm rating this particular Hotel.

As before I cannot compliment the staff enough for their professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to accommodate!

The rooms were very clean, the breakfast area also kept extremely clean.

Was able to speak with the general manager Mr Lowe and he was very gracious and complimentary of his staff... even though I live locally and was transitioning and the local move he's still invited me back whenever I decided I might need a staycation...

Hotel is in a great location, very safe at night, plenty of eating facilities in the area, and easy access to Interstate 35. If you're visiting Waco for downtown or access to any events at Baylor University it's only about 10 minutes away!

I have stayed here several times in the past. It's always clean and the people are friendly and helpful.
If I had any complaints it would be the breakfast.
There is no hot food unless you make a waffle or heat up a breakfast sandwich out of the cooler.
But I understand covid changed a lot of things and most places just don't have the staff to go back to what things used to be.
I er all though it was a great stay and very relaxing

Everything was great except the bathroom door was locked. No restroom until the clerk got the door open. Overall a great experience.

This hotel is like no other hotel I've ever stayed at this place is incredible his staff are just so friendly very helpful very respectful and they make the experience there that much more this place is spectacular they clean very quiet very relaxed. I great experience all around hands-down love this place thank you guys for such a great experience at your hotel

My family and two small dogs took a mini vacay to Waco for a football camp at Baylor (Sic 'em!🐻) And chose this hotel for our two night stay. All of Waco residents are sweet and respectful to start with, it's one of the best areas in Texas to visit 🥰 but we were blown away with the kind staff and their services. Everybody was exceptionally sweet and had smiles on their faces. Our room was large, updated and super clean. We really enjoyed the nice indoor pool area which was clean as well. Another great surprise was their breakfast. Make your own giant Texas waffle to pre-made egg sandwiches, they had something for everyone! On our last morning, we barely made the end of it and the staff had every right to begin cleaning up the buffet but instead smiled and refilled some of it. I can't say enough good things about this one honestly. Will definitely be choosing this hotel again and will be highly recommending it to family and friends!!

Quiet! Being so near the roadways I wasn't optimistic about quiet. Nearly sound proof and we were on the first floor nearest the main entrance! Clean, comfortable great central location and reasonable pricing. Great staff! Location is fantastic! Three tenths of a mile from a great donut shop, (Donut Hole), about the same distance from a Walmart, gas stations and several eateries with in two miles.

Very reasonable price with a great room. Very clean and nice. Linens smelled heavenly. Location was perfect with shopping and restaurant nearby. Our only complaint was that the toilet was low. At our age, this is a difficulty. It would have been even more of an issue if we were there multiple nights. Overall we were pleased.

Wife and I were very impressed with this place. All the staff were friendly. The place was very clean. Room was good size and bathroom was large Breakfast was very good. My only complaint would be that the bed was not firmer. Would stay here again. Thought it was comparable to a Holiday Inn with out the fancy hot breakfast

Good rates, excellent rooms. Super Clean, plenty of towels, pillows and channel guide with the remote!. (Sounds like a small thing yet experience has shown it’s importance.) very pleasant stay. The smells of breakfast made waking up even more pleasant.

I was in town visiting family for 6 nights. My husband became ill and my stay was extended by 13 days. The staff was super friendly asking about how things were every day. Breakfast was hot and fresh every day, served with a smile! Rooms are clean and comfortable. Just can't say enough about how great the staff was. From manager to housekeeping and breakfast attendant. All are top notch!

I cannot say enough about how impressed I was with Sleep Inn during our visit from Florida. The staff was first and foremost top notch. The front desk was super helpful at check-in, the housekeepers were very nice and attentive.

Our room was great. It was a King room and it had tons of space. We had everything we needed.

The real magic came during check-out. Our plans and flights changed and the front desk, GM, and housekeepers worked together to get our room turned over last so that we could check out as late as possible. This saved us several hours in the airport and we could not have been more grateful. Thank you thank you thank you!!

The front desk personnel named Maxine was so nice and gave me great customer service. Anything I asked, she did it with a smile. The room service team leader Sherry is amazing to say the least. Her team cleaned my room and gave me extra towels when we needed it. The wedding was postponed and they were able to accommodate us with no issue. You guys will forever be in our hearts. When I come to Waco, TX I will always stay here because of the great hospitality and the entire staff is great. Thank you all for a great stay. Love, the Browns. 9/7/2018.

Pretty happy with this place. I'm in the area often and this is my first pick.

The hotel is comfortable and overall quiet. Beds are comfortable and room is clean. Room 209 is huge and wheelchair accessible. Has a small kitchenette.

Top customer service. The front desk lady was very detailed and enthusiastic about everything the hotel has to offer as well as local restaurants that were good. She was super friendly. Our room was very clean and the shower was huge. I always do a smell test when I first walk into a hotel room and our room had a very pleasant smell. Highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was so nice. The room was very clean. Smelled great. Smoking area was clean and tidy. The AC was so cold. We slept 12 hours the bed was so comfy. Definitely on my Favorite list.

Very nice stay! We needed pet friendly and an indoor pool, and was referred here by Quality Inn. It truly exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was good and filling with some variety day to day. My only dislike was the third floor must be the "smoking" floor and it's overwhelming when you open the door. On a good note we couldn't smell it inside our room. We were in Waco for a memorial service but took time to drive around and see places and how much Waco has grown since we lived in the area years ago. Keep up the good work Sleep Inn!

Thank you Sleep Inn & Suites for an awesome weekend! Excellent location, close to a variety of food options perfect for our 10 teen students. Rooms, bed, restrooms were in great and clean condition. The breakfast was awesome with lots to choose from.But most of all the staff was super friendly and immediately corrected an issue we had with a pullout bed. They were just so helpful and made us feel so very welcomed!

Check in experience was great Joesph at the front desk provided excellent customer service. The only issue I I didn’t want to use the shower because it was dirty and pubic hairs were in the shower. For future gut please inspect the shower only giving 5 stars because of Joesph
