This place is fantastic! First time here since their remodel. Great food with a great vibe! Many excellent choices to choose from! Love the new decor. Definitely will be back! Free cannoli with purchase of an entree on Tuesdays! Bonus!

Had a wonderful experience for our first time at Buon Appetito. Rivaling some of our favorite Italian spots in Macomb county, this gem delivered. Delicious, authentic Italian dishes, tasty cocktails and attentive service. We loved the Shrimp Cremosi and arancini for appetizers. The Lemon Cream sauce on the Shrimp Cremosi was arguably the best sauce we’ve ever had. It was so good, my husband ordered the Chicken Cremosi for dinner, and it was divine. The veal parmigiana and penne alla Vito were also delicious. For desert, we had the tiramisu and chocolate tartufo. Both were amazing - particularly loved the tiramisu as it was light and flavorful. We will definitely be back!

What a hidden gem. Loved everything about this place. The owner and his wife were so welcoming. The cocktail had a beautiful presentation and was delicious. All the food was high quality and fresh. Will definitely make this a frequent spot. It also appears the recently remodeled. Atmosphere is warm and well decorated.

Quintessential Italian food. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavor was fresh and different from any other Italian place I've been to. They had almost as much staff as patrons in the restaurant. I am definitely going back and trying some different dishes, it may even take a few more visits! Make a reservation, come here and eat! You will not be disappointed! Dining here is the epitome of Italian dining.

First time dining there for my daughters 40th birthday. Vito, his wife, and staff were all very charming. The food and atmosphere were great too. We will definitely return for another fabulous dining experience.

First time back in the restaurant since the remodel! Had a reservation for 12 people and were seated on time! (Included 5 kids from 3 to 12 years)
Our waiter Benny was excellent, very accommodating got all of our orders right (especially the kids with sauce on side etc, even brought waters in kid cups and asked If the 12 year old would want glass or kid cup) He was also very understanding when the kids got a little antsy or my 3 year old screamed for a second over not getting her way. Very personable guy.
The flow of the meal went great, appropriate wait time for food to come in the busy restaurant, food was delicious and hot. They ran out of ice cream but the kids loved the spumoni! (I used to get it as a kid too!)
Was very impressed with everything!

Proudly family owned. From the minute we walked in - a welcoming warm & friendly staff.
I dined with my husband. We had the calamari appetizer - troppo bene. A bottle of house chianti - piacevole. Salad with house basalmic dressing. Hmmm, I thought, not sure about the dressing, but it was - sorprendentemente buono.
I had eggplant parmesan & added chicken - ntrambi molto gustosi
My husband had chicken cremosi, a creamy lemon sauce - troppo bene !!The tiramisu!! made by mama - yu il meglio!!

It's a very good place to go and have a good quality dinner.Regardless if your by yourself or entire family or a party. Very good quality food at a reasonable price. I enjoyed the food the service and atmosphere. I had a good time. The owners make sure you are satisfied. Very good!! Thank you!

First time to this restaurant. The food was delicious. We ordered the spinach rigatoni and my wife order the penne lobster. Our impression was higher than family restaurant and slightly lower than high end white table cloth. Service was really good and greeted by Evito (owner). Great Italian experience. This is a must try.

Our first time here my husband and I said we have found our new favorite restaurant. We went back and it was even better. Lovely, homey, but still romantic atmosphere. Service is incredible from hostess to bussing staff. Food is always fresh and delicious! Many vegetarian options. Owners are always on the floor helping employees and greeting customers. We were seated next to a table with children both times and we saw them treated well.

Try the tiramisu or Spumoni Bom Bomb for dessert. Trust me.

Maybe take some of these bad reviews with a grain of salt. This place checks all the boxes!

Absolutely loved this place, food was amazing as well as the service. Everyone was super friendly! They were quick with the food and everything tasted amazing. 10/10 would recommend for amazing Italian food for a reasonable price.

Food is AMAZING! Staff is incredible! Atmosphere is outstanding. The owners are some of the nicest people around.

Top shelf... Italian restaurants are either quiet....or noisy... love them both....this is the noisy type.....food and service are 9 out of 10.....ask for a spanish coffee!

Lights are much on the bright side for my preference.

Lose the daylight bulbs!

They belong in the kitchen only.

You should use lower watt bulbs with warm with a splash of red light somewhere.

Tiramisu is not my style... but depends upon the region of Italy the recipe comes from.

Also, the minestrone soup has no flavor.

Hands down the best authentic Italian around! Loved all of the food and the trays I ordered! Down fall is the hours of operation.. wished it was opened a little sooner but understand..

It was a nice Sunday evening with friends. Food was wonderful service was excellent very comfortable. It was our first time there and we will definitely go back again

Stopped a Buon Appetito on the way to Blake's and was impressed. The food was fresh, tasty and plentiful and the service was spot on. Both the Chicken Parmesan and Lasagna were perfect. The sauce was simple - but well seasoned (loved the garlic!).

My salad could've used a little more greens, but the other was well proportioned (not a big deal). The house dressing had a little fruitiness to it that I enjoyed.

The bread was OMG good - I debate whether the basket could've used another couple pieces as it really could've filled me up before dinner was served.

The bruschetta wasn't my thing - not a slight on it, it's just not my thing. My date raved about it -- loved the tomatoes and found perfectly seasoned and proportioned.

What is there to say except Mandja! A small "mom & pop" establishment that makes you feel you're in Nona's kitchen everytime you eat here! Service is excellent, they have a decent Vino list, a full bar with liquor, but the food will keep you coming back forva long time, jus to see what Vito has put on the Specials List! Reservations are strongly suggested, a few favorites for me are Calamari, the rigatoni with Riccotta & Spinich, the Marsala Chicken, the Arancini(so cheesey creamy yummy) and a FAV if you catch it on Special is their Lamb Shank with creamy dreamy Risotto, I'm jus lovin everything I've tried here!
