Whistle stop liquor store

I live out of town and come here to visit family every year. I’ve never found my bottle at any liquor store until I came across this gem. Very friendly and helpful people. They even had the butterscotch liquor I was asked to bring back home. Highly recommend.

Very good store, and they are always helpful. I was told I had to buy a certain Vodka sold only in Detroit, and here it was only 1 mile from my house. I called Whistle Stop, and he held a bottle for me. Highly recommend this place.

Great selection! If you want a special bottle you can find it without a sketchy secondary purchase!

Haha, clearly someone is really mad about one bourbon deal from a couple years ago and sent all their buddies to come rip these guys. They all sound like they were fed the same script to post. These guys don’t always have state minimum price, but the selection is great, and if you’re looking for that special bottle, they probably have it. Particularly with bourbon, whiskey and scotch. We have even asked for certain liqueurs we couldn’t find anywhere, and they stock them just for us at a reasonable price. You wouldn’t know it from the exterior, but these guys seem to know their stuff, know what they can charge (like it or not) and like being a destination for hard-to-find items. Also cheap beer, vapes, and lottery tickets if you’re into that….

One of the better selections of Bourbons in the area. Pretty good pricing, some of the bottles you can find cheaper elsewhere, but I buy from him because he has pours other do not. Always friendly and very knowledgeable on his stock.

I brought my boyfriend here knowing he would absolutely love the selection. Little did I know that they have probably some of the rarest bottles in Michigan. They had helped me previously pick out little shooters for a 25 days of Christmas project I was doing. Very helpful and they are super knowledgable about everything in their store.

I see a lot of people crying 2 years ago about some bourbon and getting extra cases. Get over it. The guys in the store are great, they have a selection second to none in all categories and I highly recommend stopping in. They are always happy to help.

So the first thing I would like to say is if you are into bourbons and whiskey this store has a collection of some very hard to find stuff at a reasonable prices and I would recommend anyone to stop by this place. Had a great expierence staff was friendly and they had what I wanted in stock. Secondly all those people who left a 1 star are ignorant and dont understand how the buying and selling of bourbons work if you can't afford that's your problem. They deserve a 5 out of 5!

Best liquor store I’ve ever been too!!! I highly recommend going there to get high end items/liquor. The owner is very nice and humble and has very great customer service. He always has the rarest bottles in Michigan.

Best party store ever. No food, but all the booze in the world and great guys working the counter. .

Don’t understand all the crybabies on the allocation reviews. Sounds like Capitalism to me. Keep taking your business elsewhere so I can go in and buy hard to find bottles whenever I want. They are always friendly and willing to help me find something.

This is a really solid liquor store. Always well-stocked and they have a great selection of beer, liquor, and wine. The guys that run this place are great too. Definitely check it out!

A smart business owner, don’t trust the reviews below with the one star they are just jealous they didn’t punch the code in for the birthday bourbon. I recommend coming here any day.

Very clean liquor store. Has everything that you need(THE BEST SELECTION). The staff is very helpful and friendly. I come here once a week.

This is my go-to liquor store. There selection is top notch! They will order it if they don't have it. The beer selection is also very respectable!
