I’ve been coming here with my Dad for over 20 years! It’s one of our favorite places ever and it’s now one of my daughter’s favorite places too. We always come here to do our Christmas shopping and to get gag gifts. They have the best stuff !

Can’t say enough good things about our fellow Romeo business Vera’s! Top notch store and people. We almost always pick up a new unique game to add to our shops inventory and send customers there because we know they will be treated with kindness and receive the best service. My favorite shop in town!

Great store Run by a wonderful local family.! My family has been coming here for over 20 years. It is our go to place for unique and fun gifts for all ages. They have a nice selection of nostalgic candy as well.

My husband needed to rent a cylinder containing several cubic feet of pure helium for a high altitude balloon project he was working on. We called all the major gas suppliers in the area and none had a small cylinder that he could rent. Fortunate Vera’s Balloons was able to set him up with a portable helium cylinder and he was able to use it to fill his balloon. And they charged him a very reasonable price for the helium. Great store.

Vera’s is a one of a kind store with items for all ages! The owners are amazing people! Romeo has so much to offer and this store is a must see! Support local businesses!

A perfectly wonderful iconic store… that sadly since my children have grown up I do not visit enough!!! But I’m now blessed with grandchildren… I’m going to make it a tradition!!! Love Vera’s!!! 🥰

Love this little shop and I will return! I've felt for awhile that my spirit animal was a sloth, and when I saw a grow sloth that was encased in a tree trunk, I had to get him. True to sloth form it took him the three days the box recommended to get his head out of the stump. At 6 days, when his nose broke through, I finished the job for him, but I don't know how that trunk held this big boy in. Very cool buy.

*edit: I just read the one star review left for this establishment. I have to say, that person doesn't want what this store has to offer. They don't even want what any charming downtown has to offer. They want to sit at home and get instant gratification, and complain when they don't. It's not about atmosphere or customer satisfaction. It's not about supporting the two sweetest old people I've ever encountered working. It's about them saving a dollar. On what? Your whoopie-cushion or astronaut I've cream? Go find me a toy store that not only has this selection of games but also has shot checkers, find-it discovery toys for children, yet also decorative and functional knives. Also, the best assortment of candy you'll find around.

Stay home and shop on Amazon. Leave the enjoyment to the rest of us.

This is a great store! If you're looking for a unique gift or a novelty item you haven't been able to find or even seen in years, this is the place to check. They carry all sorts of things you can't find anywhere else. Or, if you need balloons for any occasion they've got you covered and then some.

Ordered large "2020" balloons and a bunch of latex balloons for my daughters grad party, they lasted 2 weeks! We were able to use them for another party as well! Fair priced, and friendly service! :)

I used to come here every day when I was a teen (I'm 33 now with my own kid). I remember the lovely older couple who originally opened this place. Now I get to show my 6yr old this awesome place. Hope it stays open forever!!
