Gardner White Furniture & Mattress Store

Yesterday, we bought couches that were exactly what we were looking for! Our sales man, Filip P, was very helpful. He took into account exactly what we were looking for. He went over how the models we were looking at were build (we asked for something stronger) and he even provided client experiences he heard from first hand. He offered customization to a set we liked and was patient as we asked all our questions. He did have to step away for a moment and we were helped by Allen. Allen was amazing! He helped us measure and explained the discount and benefits. I love how much care these two gentlemen took, I felt like I was shopping with friends. Thank you!

My experience at Gardner-White was great, thanks to Steve
Meissen, the salesman at the Clearance Center on Hall Road near Schoenherr. He had wonderful suggestions and showed us pieces that worked perfectly in the setting. I will ask for Steve anytime I shop at this location.

My salesperson, Will, was awesome! He helped us in the pass with a mattress and was super patient and helpful in picking out just the right mattress. I made sure I sought him out this time when I was looking for a sofa. Overall wonderful experience, due in large part to Will!

I worked with DJ and he was very patient and kind. I am planning to make a few more purchases. I will definitely request DJ to work with. I did want to add that everyone had smiles and either asked how I was doing or said hello..

I have not purchased a piece of new furniture in a long time. My salesman Kevin was absolutely awesome. Not only was Kevin very friendly, he was also very knowledgeable. My experience with Gardner White and Kevin was exactly what I had hoped for although I really didn't expect it. I recommend Gardner White and Kevin if you need anything in quality furniture. Well Okay. Not perfect. The beautiful love seat I ordered showed up as a beautiful couch. Some kind of warehouse glitz. Anyhow after waiting for a few days the couch was taken away and the beautiful love seat was brought in and set up for me. Thank you Gardner White for resolving this situation quickly.

We got a GREAT deal on a new bed! This store is beautiful, with a huge selection of furniture. Our salesman “Louie” was kind, helpful, knowledgeable and he wasn’t pushy. The whole experience from start to finish was very pleasant!

We were greeted at the store by DJ. He was friendly and knowledgeable about what we were looking for. He let us browse around alone, checking on us from time to time. He wasn’t pushy at all like some sales people. DJ helped us find the couch and love seat we were looking for.

My salesperson was Matt a very stylish young man. Matt was patient & knowledgeable about every piece of furniture.

Matt was kind enough to allow me to telephone the person I was purchasing the furniture for. And, explained to the person about the pieces included with the set.

Matt paid attention to detail while keeping the budget in mind. I never once felt pressured. And, my delivery was set up for the next day. How awesome is that !

This was my first time going to a Gardner White & will not be my last....this was my purchase . Warranty included on the furniture for 4 years & lifetime cleaning supplies for free . Just bring back the empty bottle & get free refills. Thank you once again Matt.

My husband and I went into the store knowing exactly what we were looking for. The store was extremely busy. We went to the section where the recliners were. We were trying them out for comfort and function when this young sales woman approach us and asked if we needed help. She was excellent. Knowledgeable about the product we were interested in. Not pushy and just a very pleasant person. We purchased 2 recliners and walked out the door very satisfied. It was a 5 star experience.

Suzanna in Shelby twp was so helpful. She helped me purchase a sofa on the phone, off the clearance floor. She took the time to examine the sofa and send me pictures of the few imperfections on the sofa. I haven’t worked with such a helpful sales person in a long time. Thank you Suzanna!

Our sales associate Brian T was absolutely hands down best customer service I have received in a VERY long time. He was quick, and efficient while also knowledgeable. Would recommend the Shelby Twp location. Ask for Brian.

The sales individuals (Suzana C. and LA - Louis Anthony ) were very professional and concise. The care given to my wife and I was excellent.
Also, all paperwork was done in a very businesslike manner. I will purchase from any one of the two individuals at anytime. Again, Thank you for being so precise and again professional.

I had a great experience shopping there. Normally I feel pressured and stalked when I walk into a furniture store, but this time was nice, easy and relaxed. The sales guy, Jason, was very nice and easy to talk to. Made my purchase seamless. Got the item delivered the next day as promised, and the delivery was very nice and professional as well. It had been a few years since I had bought anything at Gardner-White. My wife and I needed a new recliner, we took advantage of a great sale, and we had an awesome salesman in Paul! It was a very seamless and pleasant experience.

The Showroom is massive, pack a lunch.. the prices were easy to find, which was not the case at a previous store we had been too. Staff was friendly and helpful..gave us time to look on our own. Had options for delivery, at a competitive price. Will shop again.

We came in on Black Friday and expected to have a difficult time because of the day, but were pleasantly surprised that we had a great interaction. We received just the right amount of leaving us to look on our own with check ins on us not being too often. The whole interaction felt very low pressure. Out of all the furniture purchases we have shopped for over the years this was probably the best.

We had a wonderful experience at Gardner White! Our sales manager, E’Shon, was so friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. He guided us and answered any and all questions, speaking very highly of the products but never making us feel pressured to buy. The whole time it felt like we were talking with a good friend. 😊 We are extremely happy with our furniture and mattress purchase and confident that it will last us a long time. Stopped in to look at recliners. L.A. greeted us at the door. He was very nice. Fell in love with one and bought it. Great salesman and totally happy with the chair! L.A. has a great personality and made it a pleasant experience. Thank you!

We have not received our furniture yet, so I cannot review that. However, the customer service we received was wonderful! Stephanie is so kind and helpful. She is not pushy or overbearing. If you don't want something, she does not keep bothering you about it. She was thorough with giving us info and helping us find exactly what we want.
