Old World Nouveau

I am not a person that typically enjoys shopping. My husband and i were exploring downtown Romeo before heading to Terror on Tillson. The window display caught my eye so I stopped to peak in the window and saw a beautiful and inviting shop. "I want to go in here!" I said to my husband who looked at me with some shock because that's not something he hears from me often! We were instantly greeted by the nicest people who offered us a beer or a glass of wine. They were seriously so nice that we accepted because hanging out with them for a bit seemed like an enjoyable thing to do. We later learned it was the owners of the shop, along with some of their friends. We browsed the shop and the anti-shopper (me) even fell in love with some beautiful, unusual Halloween decorations that I had to have. Between the owners being so great and the store itself being beautiful and having unique items that you can't just find anywhere, I will now go out of my way to return.

This is an absolutely fabulous shop! My sister bought a piece of furniture for her dinning room area. We all also bought jewelry, seasonal decorations and knickknacks. Beautiful displays! Our sales lady was friendly and happy. We have been back several times since our original visit. Make sure you stop and shop here, when you visit Romeo!

The owners are great people. And they have very good insight into what goes together and how to build your room. The store stocks wonderful furniture at great prices. Excellent shopping experience. We will definitely keep shopping here.

I have gone in a few times and always felt right at home with the adorable dogs (Maximus and Spartacus), sweet smells and great items to buy! Tonight I got to truly meet Donna and David - SO thankful to have them and their store in town! I highly recommend a stop by - even just to look - if you're looking for a gift or to spoil yourself! They even gave me a little housewarming gift! Now when l look at it I will think of them, their kindness, and their cozy store! ❤👍🏻

This store needs to be on everyone’s’ radar who likes to shop locally; a place with excellent service, high quality, unique items at excellent prices and nice people. We found this little gem of a shop when visiting family nearby and we were looking for a coffee shop. We found both. We found a beautiful cabinet for the living room and a counter-height bistro set for the walk-out and wine tasting. Both were on sale. How lucky are we? Run, do not walk, to this shop, today!

The furniture sold in this store is beautiful with unbeatable prices!! The owners are so sweet, compassionate and caring. You never feel that “salesman” vibe here. Truly great people and an awesome store! We will be return customers and would recommend to anyone looking for furniture!
