Norma J's Café & Bake Shop

We are from Montreal but we had the best bagel @ norma .everything bagel with bacon and egg and cheddar so fluffy so buttery wawww it was such an experience. My hubby had the breakfast burrito very tasty too . The house coffee was excellent . We had the hazelnut vanilla . And the pastry were gorgeous: canoli carrot cake , donut , cookie everything was fresh and good . It is a family business and norma was there for every guest . Bravo

This breakfast was beyond perfect! The quality of the food was amazing. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy and the bacon chive waffle was inspired. Then fluffy pancakes were the perfect bread to our other breakfast sandwich. All topped with real maple syrup!! Feeling indulgent we finished with a fresh out of the oven cinnamon roll that was melt-in-the mouth delicious!!! It was so warm and smelled so good it didn’t even make it home before we ate it!

And to make it all even better, the staff were delightful!! They welcomed us like we were regulars although it was our first time, service was fast but not rushed, and everyone there looked happy. Just an outstanding experience all around!! Excuse the pictures of mostly eaten food, I was enjoying it all all too much to take pictures before digging in haha!

Quaint little diner and bakery with excellent food and personable service.we ordered breakfast after an overnight stay in the area and the portions were very good/we left full! But not before the bakery counter caught our attention and we had to come home with several sweet treats. We’d definitely revisit next time we’re in the area. Oh, plus they offer a veterans and first responder discount.

Stopped in for breakfast on my honeymoon & had amazing food, service, and baked goods. The coffee milkshake was also a great experience! Will definitely come again.

Delicious! I ordered Norma J’s for delivery today because my car is stuck in the shop. I ordered the pancakes, bacon, and home fries, as well as a milkshake. Everything was fresh and delicious and traveled really well. The delivery driver was also very nice! Thanks for great food and service!

Fantastic food! They offer amazing breakfast options and you must check out their pastry case before you leave! You won't be disappointed when you come here to eat! In the summertime, they offer outdoor seating which is so perfect to get outside and enjoy what little nice weather we get!

Owner is a wonderful lady, I stopped in from Malone on our way to Vermont for a quick snack. I didn’t realize they go to winter hours and close at 2 now and I showed up at 2:05 and the doors were still unlocked and she was so happy to not only service but also didn’t not make me feel rushed as she had a side conversation as well with me about DoorDash! Highly recommend

The breakfast burrito was really good, great service, nice atmosphere and reasonable prices compared to other places in other states! I totally recommend this coffee shop!

We asked Norma J's if they could make us a special order of a Fruit Pizza. Of course they could! The fruit pizza was the most amazing dessert we've had in a long time. We will go back again and again! Thank you! <3

Really cute place to have breakfast! I had the Cheat Day meal and it was absolutely to die for! Staff is great and very friendly and attentive.

Best hidden gem in Plattsburgh. The omelette sammy is the best, mixing a grilled cheese with an omelet. You're always greeted with a smile.

We came across this place by fluke on our way back to Canada, and we're so happy we did. We loved the family atmosphere, not to mention great service and delicious food. We'll be back!

Not bad. They have a decent selection of pastries, and the ones I tried were good. I'm not sure about their coffee; I'm not a coffee person, so I really can't say anything on that front, other then that I could definitely taste the flavors in the coffee so I think that's a plus, again, I'm a pastries guy, not a coffee guy, so that's just my best guess . also I apologize to the counter person for making a face when they said they use balvairan creme in their eclairs. I have had a few to many places say balvairan creme and then it be boston, to the point i had infact forgottenthat the two are not the same thing. I will try the eclairs next time. But if you are trying to pass off boston Cream as balvairan, I will be disappointed.

We were passing through and thought this looked like a cute breakfast stop. Not only was it as cute as can be, but the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stop here again next time we are in the area!

I absolutely love Norma Js, delicious food & pastries! I always leave w/ some goodies! On the weekends they come up with the most fun french toast, banana bread, strawberry rubarb & they even had a fried oreo donut special!
