Seb's Snack Bar

Takes you back in time, delicious juicy hamburgers, tasty French fries that tasted real! We sat on a picnic table, service was quick and friendly. The lines were long at times but moved quickly.

Really good cheeseburger, the staff was really nice, plenty of seating outdoors with a grassy area and some games to play. The small ice cream cones are massive and will surely satisfy any sweet tooth. Definitely stop if your in the south hero area.

Fantastic fries! Worth the drive. My friend and I pigged out and devoured all the fries. Hand-cut and golden deliciousness... Lots of salt with mustard on the side 🍔🌭🍟🥤

Seb's customer service layout is a good one. Window for "Ice Cream" & for "Food only". I just got Ice Cream and Jayden and Rylan (hope I spelled them close enough??) Were wonderful young people. Kind, Professional with huge caring Smiles. The Pumpkin Pie 🥧 Ice Cream was delicious 😋. I thought it was the real deal.
The Food window was right next to me and the staff was kind and interactive with their customers. They have little buzzers for when your food is ready. 😲 Wow, at a snack bar that's service. Big inside space, outdoor seating for eating and enjoying your food & dessert.

I have lived in Vermont for 33 years and I keep finding little surprises that remind me these People are the best thing about Vermont and the passion to show everyone what Vermont has to offer.
Jayden and Rylian, our missing Cat 🐈 came home after almost 2 weeks (9/11-9/25) thanks 🙏 for your kindness, concern & Great 🍨 Ice Cream 🍦 to cheer me up 💝. Can't wait to stop here again 🙂.

Love visiting Seb's when in town! Have only had the ice cream, although see many people order food and have a smile while eating. Plenty of things to do while eating with family games and trees to climb. Would highly recommend!

Went here with my parents as part of our Vermont Vacation on August 29th 2023. There is a general store also attached to this, as well as the snack bar, which had ice cream, and some other food like burgers. First, we went in the General store in which they had syrups and some touristy things. Then, we walked outside while my mom was buying a few things, and decided on getting ice cream. They had Hershey's ice cream there, and i ordered Cotton Candy in a cup, my dad ordered the chocolate raspberry sundae, and my mom ordered soft serve vanila on a waffle cone. Person taking our order, and at the cashier inside were both very nice. They had tables and chairs to sit outside, and we all ate our delicious ice cream there. Definetely a recommended stop, and would eat there again should be ever vacation in Vermont again.

Love this place. I'll pass on breakfast if I know I'm passing by in the pm, just so I have space in my stomach. Fries, burger or a sandwich, all great. Top it off with ice cream.

Typical burgers and whatnot, but the fries are why you come here! Service is fast and friendly. Plenty of places to sit and it is well kept!

Still get great ice cream for a fair price with great service served by people who actually seem to be happy and service with a smile. Getting rarer these days.

Delicious onion rings and flavorful hot dog as well as cider! Great as we drove through the isles

I've been going to this snack bar for 30+ years and I've always loved it! I'm currently having a delicious milkshake as I write this. 👍👌

Always awesome tasty food and ice cream. Service is great especially Alex and Sophia who always go above and beyond!!!

Good "junk food" (fried or grilled stuff)
Right off of route 2 (very hard to miss)
Tons of outdoor seating
Fun outdoor games
Large gift shop
Even with a large line food came quickly and with great service

Cons;

Right off of route 2 (noisy, potential dangers with small children)
Only bathroom access was port a potties that were fairly dirty and stinky

Great place, went there a couple years ago and got a great BLT from a man who called himself Jonnie D. Unfortunately he wasn't there this time but still loved the atmosphere and my grilled chicken was phenomenal.

We love stopping at sebs when in the islands. The food is always good and the ice cream puts it over the top. A perfect spot for families to stop after a summer day visiting grand isle county.

When my son was young. We used to drive to South Hero and then ride our bikes around the island. We always ended at Seb's. The French fries are great and they have one of the best veggie burgers around.

Is in So. Hero, Rt 2. They have DELICIOUS food. Served hot not warm/cold. If there is a long line, it moves along. We were a Family group and were able to eat together at the same time, under a tree. They also have umbrellas over tables, picnic tables, and follow Covid rules.

If your ever in this small town swing in and get something to eat or grab a creamy. Best place I been all summer. Worth the money

Very quaint ice cream and comfort foods at reasonable prices. Lovely outdoor seating area with fun lawn games for the kids/families including a giant Connect Four.
