Harrigan's Soft Ice Cream

Ice cream is always SO GOOD. Usually get the brownie sundae, but today I tried the apple cider donut sundae and it was THE BEST sundae I have EVER HAD

Every time I visit Plattsburgh, Harrigan's is a must stop. One of the best family owned ice cream establishments I've ever been to. I love the Patriot Parfait. So good! Plenty of outdoor space to eat with friends and family. Good customer service.

Harrigan's is literally the best! Whether it's the soft serve, dole whip or the very delicious 'the Myth', you can't go wrong. As a self described soft serve person, I was blown away by the dole whip. I might be a convert. Kris, Dre and the rest of the staff are awesome! Definitely worth stopping by.

May be the best ice cream in all of New York State, plus great space to hang outside and enjoy your ice cream. But the best part of all? The pup cups! The owners take the time to make their own peanut butter frozen dog treats to top it all off, it’s the best.

My father grew up in the area and we have traveled here for many years and it’s always been one of the destinations to stop at during our visits. We live in Tennessee and while up in Plattsburgh this weekend we had to stop and get an ice cream. Still the best ice cream around and I’m so glad we got to stop. I’d like to say it’s the reason we drove up to New York but it’s definitely one of the perks of our travels.

Best ice cream in the area. I go so much they know my order as soon as I pull in. My Dr doesn't like me going that much but I can't help it lol. Keep up the great work guys I love seeing other young businesses professional succeed .

The ice cream is always good! Thing is, and I may be wrong on this, but everyone in the area I believe uses the same mix, made by Crowley. So, all the ice cream(s) are the same no matter where you go. With that said, there are places to get ice cream in the Plattsburgh area that cost half as much.

As far as we are concerned, there is only one place to go in the North Country for ice cream and that is Harrigan's in Morrisonville.
They have the best ice cream and the nicest people who create our favorite treats! Love the pumpkin hurricane!!!

This is by far the best ice cream I have had in the North Country! My brownie sundae was a tasty delight and the customer service was unparalleled. Andrea and Kris, the owners, told me about their business and their roots in the community. Meanwhile, Jenny, my server, was extremely friendly. I look forward to going again soon!

The Myth! The Legend! We drove three hours just to get ice cream here. JK, we were visiting family. But we always make it a point to stop here before we go home. The ice cream was awesome!

A very well known local business that is a must visit during the summer months in the Plattsburgh area. To people who grew up here there is a immense sense of nostalgia as it is pretty much a local landmark. The ice cream is excellent and the list of options is extensive. If you are in the Plattsburgh area during the summer and seaking a good place to grab dessert this should be on your list. If you really want a challenge order a large and see if your hands are not covered in stickiness before you have finished half of your cone!

Best ice cream!! Established in 1959, the family run business has been preserved beautifully since it was opened. The staff is friendly and this is some of if not the best soft ice cream I've ever had! I love the root beer floats, or the black raspberry twist with chocolate sprinkles. Cash only, so it is important to remember that if you only carry a card.

Love getting their Heath Hurricanes, the chocolate soft serve is always on point, and my dogs love their pup cups.

Don't forget to grad a Hand Packed Quart to take home after you sit and enjoy a banana split in the sunshine, it's the way to go!! Always service with a smile!
