Kaffee Vonsolln

We love this gem of a coffee shop! The staff is amazing. Would’ve missed out on the eclipse had it not been for the kind people that leant me their spectacles to view from. Can’t say enough kind words about them. Lattes are always perfection with an added artistic touch on the foam. They remember my drink and accommodate the boys with puppy chinos happily. I should mention I get my coffee beans here, an added bonus for a true coffee lover. Chunk agrees they’re pawsome!

We tailed some locals that said they knew the best coffee in town, they were most certainly correct.

I ordered a hot cider and bacon breakfast bagel. If you follow suit you will not regret it.

German coffee shop in Portsmouth, very nice rustic vibe and a strong focus on coffee which is much appreciated. They have local roasted coffees on sale which can be purchased, and a very interesting menu. German Iced Coffee is something that you cannot go wrong with, and definitely try seasonals such as Maple and Pumpkin Spice Latte. It is a must try coffee shop when you visit Portsmouth.

My husband and I are coffee lovers and this place was a must visit for us on our last trip to Portsmouth. I ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee and my husband ordered the German iced coffee. It was my husband's first time having German coffee and he really enjoyed every last sip. I really enjoy Vietnamese iced coffee and was looking forward to trying theirs. It did not disappoint! There are several coffee shops in the area. Make sure you give this one a try you will not regret it!

The drinks are really good. It's hard to find good tasting coffee these days, glad to have this place around. Love the smell of roasted beans.

Wonderful little hole in the wall in downtown Portmouth. Nice people but New Hampshire rude 😂😂😂. Stop by. Light and fun.

It's a really cool coffee shop with nice outdoor area. My latte was delicious with beautiful latte art. If you like strong coffee with chocolate undernotes, you will enjoy this place. Service was great and barista did an awesome job. Pastries looked good too!!

Fantastic German-inspired coffee shop near the water in Portsmouth with a great cup of coffee. I’ll be honest, I’ve had a head cold for 3 days and my taste buds are currently in hibernation. Despite this, I was awestruck after my first taste of Kaffee Vonsolln’s medium roast. Not in the least bit bitter with a smooth chocolate flavor all for $2.52 for a large coffee. Big deals are going on here in Portsmouth. Just another reason I’m very bullish on American things that are German in name (i.e. myself, Kaffee Vonsolln).

Very cozy place with good coffee and I really liked blueberry scones because they weren't as sweet as the typical ones in other cafes

If you ever find your self near by you need to stop for the Bienestich and Vietnamese Coffee, then take it to Prescott Park down the road, everything is authentic and made with care, don’t second guess getting coffee and a breakfast snack anywhere else.

Just revisited after 7 years. Being from California it hard to get back. Excellent coffee and breakfast sandwiches.

I had an excellent latte with extra expresso and breakfast sandwich here. Great find in the area and excellent coffee shop in general. Shout out to the staff for being so welcoming to a visitor to the area

One of my go-to place in Portsmouth. Great for all season coffee and dessert cravings. Great selection of coffee and german pastries/desserts.

The baked goods are great. The fruit tart was fresh light and crispy and not too sweet, just perfect. Coffee superb. Best of all they are served in real ceramic cups so I know they are conscious about good service and the environment unlike the franchises. Yay!
We asked to hold the baked good until later when we finish sightseeing. They did so, excellent staff.

Kaffee Vonsolln is one of my go-to spots whenever im in Portsmouth. Their pastries and breads are always fresh and delicious. The coffee and other drinks such as their seasonal lemonades and iced teas are great as well. Highly recommend!

Stopped in on a rainy Saturday afternoon for coffee and baked goods. We had a caramel latte—with beautiful latte art—that was absolutely delicious! Also had a Cherry and peach spice cake that knocked my socks off. Really great spot!
