Middle Street Baptist Church

This unique, and well-maintained church building has a fascinating history, as it was once a private home to wealthy Portsmouth resident John Peirce. I would love to see the inside of this beautiful building on a future trip to Portsmouth.

I've been a member for 4 years and coming for 10. I enjoy the people, everyone is so friendly and kind. They are always willing to help others. Would definitely recommend this church to people in the seacost area.

Great services and people

I went to donate blood. It was a little cold. However, it was very convenient and they will be having another drive on the next day I am able to donate, which is wonderful. The facility was well kept. The automatic light in the ladies' room turned off while I was still in the stall. Fortunately I am not afraid of the dark.

I am new to the area and went to this church by myself. Not one person said hello or made me feel welcome. Very odd. I also filled out a new visitor card and never heard back. I wouldn't recommend to new people. I felt very bad when I left instead of uplifting as you should feel when you leave a worship service.
