Abby's Restaurant

Very sweet restaurant with a cozy feel. The food was delicious. We ordered mozzarella sticks, the French dip, the fried chicken sub, and a grilled cheese. Everything was good! Would definitely recommend!

A great, small spot for classic American food. Nothing fancy. If you are looking for something that reminds you of your Midwest grandma's cooking, then I highly recommend Abby's.

They serve excellent homemade food and the lunch specials are always good. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. There are only a few parking spaces out front but lots of room to park behind the building.

I very much appreciate a locally owned business with great food, servers who remember you after one or two visits, and a downtown oasis that doesn't just cater to students.
Every time I go, I kick myself for not going more often!

Abby's is a small, awesome restaurant that is worth your time to try. I love all their food, especially the club sandwich! Heads up, they are closed on Mondays. It's become a tradition we eat here before attending Virginia Tech Basketball and Wrestling events. Food, staff, atmosphere, and cost are all terrific!

We came to town for a game at VT. When we travel we want a locals experience and refuse to go to chain restaurants, this time we were lucky enough to come across Abbys! The pork chops special was amazing, the mashed potatoes were so good and everything had that homemade taste! Out server (Larissa I believe) was very attentive even being the only server on the floor. Thanks for a great lunch!!

Met a friend and we both had the Friday special, open face roast beef sandwich. Deli sliced beef was OK, very tender. The mashed potatoes were great, with a little chunk in them, which I like. The gravy stole the show. Delicious. Buttered grilled toast at the bottom loved the gravy.
Server was friendly and efficient, service was maybe 5 minutes 👍.
All in all a good eat.

Love Abbys! They have the best food. My husband and I go there often. The service is great and we love pork chop Saturday! They have awesome daily specials and the food is wonderful every time. We love that we can come over and have a great meal that doesn’t break the bank! Try it out! It’s the best!

Very good mac and cheese and burger, rlly one of the top meals i’ve had in blacksburg. Please visit them and show support to this local bar/restaurant. Will not disappoint, I promise :)

The Friday night open face roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes is excellent. Cocktails are good and not outrageously priced.

We like Abby because it is not crowded. You can seat and talk anytime. The food is great. They have good selection of draft beers. Easy parking behind the restaurant. It is a very nice place.

Delicious home cooked specials daily in addition to other menu items. The Wednesday Turkey special may be better than my own Thanksgiving turkey. Everything I've ever ordered has been great! Blacksburg is fortunate to have this restaurant.
