Eats Natural Foods

I've been a customer of Eats since their beginning in the 70's and have always relied on them for quality foods at reasonable prices. I especially enjoy their broad cheese selection.

I no longer live in Blacksburg, but when I did, this was one of my go-to places! They have an excellent bulk food section, and I've never seen a spice bulk section with as many options as theirs. I always found something new in this shop and I really miss it!

Excellent selection of cheeses and knowledgeable staff. Also, small farm coffee. Lots of organic food, gluten free products, supplements. Staff is great.

I have been shopping at Eats for years. During the height of the pandemic, this place was the safest feeling place I entered. The staff is the friendlest place in town. They have a good granola section. You should stop in and see for yourself. If you do, I bet you will become a regular shopper.

Eats is WONDERFUL! Such a great atmosphere and really high quality products. I personally go there for their metaphysical supplies and bulk herbs - and I always leave happy.

Great natural food store. Has all the vitamins and supplements that you can ever need that you cannot find anywhere in the town, and it is a nice friendly store. Also has a wide selection of foods and the membership is very helpful if you shop alot. Unfortunately they do not take American Express, but the benefits outweigh that.

Eats is located close to my house and stay open later than Annie Kay's so I end up there sometimes. Their homebrew selection is varied and convenient. The staff is unfortunately uninviting at best and sometimes downright rude so I prefer to shop at other venues when possible.

EDIT: I bounced this up to 5 stars. Their current staff is a lot friendlier than they used to be, and I now feel a lot more comfortable shopping there and shop there more often. Shows how people make the difference!

All sorts of great food, nuts, drinks, and cheeses. Also a wide assortment of vitamins, beer-making gear, gems, singing bowls and more. Expert and friendly staff.

An incredible resource for locally sourced natural foods. I saw organic nuts from other parts of the world that were so fresh they were refrigerated. I saw beautifully packaged locally grown sprouts. An amazing assortment of raw cheeses, all organic. There were gluten-free grain free organic packaged products the likes of which I had never seen before. A lot of very healthy cleaning products, locally or regionally made. Materials for growing your own sprouts, making your own beer wine and kombucha. I got off highway 81 and route from Asheville to DC and drove here to Blacksburg for lunch. It's about 20 minutes off the interstate but it was worth the drive.

The staff is always helpful. The store carries so many supplements and herbs, and if they don't have it, they will gladly order it for you. I appreciate the member/senior discount so much. Thank you!

Eats has been a staple of Blacksburg, Montgomery County and the New River Valley for over 30 years. It is everything a box store like WF is not. Quirky, eccentric, off the wall and layers deep in knowledge and experience when it comes to healthy living. It is almost impossible to simply run in for something. Between the staff and the insane variety of everything from supplements to beer making to crystals, to cutting edge oils, Eats is handily something for everyone. It is also a social hub for the kind of people that care about such things and many friendships that last a lifetime start there too.

While in Blacksburg for the ACC Wrestling Championships, I needed to buy gluten-free items and Eats had EVERYTHING I was looking for, and even locally made products that I had never had before. Thank you Eats Natural Foods!

Local and organic foods, home brew supplies, vitamins and supplements, fresh meats and cheeses, and tons of cool chocolates. Great little store with friendly staff. Parking is limited, however.

Fantastic customer service. Huge selection of natural, organic foods, natural health and beauty products, homeopathic remedies. Employees are very knowledgeable.

Nice local shop that has a variety of different goods. Lots of organic options, and a pretty decent homebrewing selection.

Great little store, I come here for homebrew supplies and some ingredients that are hard to find elsewhere. The membership is a bargain, I don't know how they do it!
