Virginia Tech

The food, the community, and the education are all amazing. However, I think the best part is the campus’ beauty. It helps that it is its own campus, not mixed with downtown like some other schools. It helps make the campus student friendly, making it easy to get to classes on foot.

The campus also has a lot of nature. Good amount of wildlife (squirrels, rabbits, birds, ducks, geese) and a lot of green trees and bushes. However, when spring comes, a lot of plants surprise you with flowers. This is when I believe the VT campus is the most beautiful.

Virginia Tech (Virginia Poly Tech University) is nestled in the mountains of Blacksburg in southern Virginia. The buildings are impressive and uniform as the stone to build was pulled from a local rock quarry intended only for Virginia Tech. The architecture is giving a sense of strength and intellect. Our tour guide (Laura or Lauren) was very informative, and you could feel her sense of pride for her school. Along the way, we heard “Go Hokies” from students that saw that we were touring. VT is on the list for potential colleges, and I believe it would make a great start for her adventure in science and technology if she chooses university. The town is small, but the sense of pride from the students is big.

There is a lot to say here. Very beautiful campus, kind teachers and thousands of learning opportunities. If you want to audit some courses you will be welcomed. Some of the very best schools ranking wise. The city itself is very small and the downtown area have few shops but the people of Blacksburg are amazing.

This is the most beautiful University I've ever seen! The buildings, parks, and trails are scenic and clean.

Beside providing great academic experience, this school provides important social enhancement for career, and community civil development.

There are many hiking, and biking trails that are beautiful and safe. During Autumn, the place is magical.

It has one giant cafetaria that serves great buffet with fair price.

I wish my University of Maryland at College Park could be just half as good.

A University in Blacksburg with a sprawling and breathtaking campus offering undergraduate and masters programmes in various disciplines ranging from the sciences to arts with renowned faculty . An international student community which is quite welcoming to aspiring freshman. There are plenty of dorms and student accommodation in the vicinity.Residing in the dorms have the advantage of proximity while the other student accommodations are a tad away but catered to by BT ,Blacksburg transit buses.Plenty of restaurants in the area provide ample choice for dining and nightlife. Blacksburg is catered to by many hotels including Hyatt, Holiday Inn and Hilton which tends to gets very busy at move in days and graduation dates. The closest airport is Roanoke a regional airport 45 minute drive away which is connected to other airports in the vicinity. Students here have ample opportunity to pursue the academic interests , join the many clubs and activities to make their student life an enriching experience. They will certainly be proud to be Hokies !

One of the best institution for education in the nation. The natural beauty of the campus is surreal. I am proud that I am a student of this amazing organization.

Great experience. Looking forward to his opportunities. I love the home feeling of Blacksburg and Virginia Tech.

It's a great time (when you aren't studying)! Just kidding. Had a complete blast at VT, and their engineering program is top notch. Go Hokies!

Beautiful campus, great academics, helpful and kind student body. Honestly, you have to see it to believe it. A football game at Lane Stadium is next level too.

The beautiful campus and the ease in which students can get to all four corners of the campus property. The Appalachian trail is close by and the mountain areas are so beautiful. The Inn on campus provides a great place to eat and relax.

HUGE campus. A lot of walking. People here are so nice, and i feel like it really resembles the hokie spirit and people live up to the virginia tech motto "ut prosim." This was my second time being on this campus ever, the first time was to attend my cousins graduation last year and this year going to campus was to take care of some of my own personal student stuff. I feel honored to have been accepted here as a transfer student.

Virginia Tech is beautiful with their stonework and marble. Food is a must try!

Most beautiful campus I have ever visited. All buildings are stone with similar architecture. Incredible how this could be built over many years and be so cohesive.

Beautiful campus...... absolutely impressive.
Most buildings clad in limestone. Campus was planned with thoughtful detail.... total WOW factor.
Blacksburg is lovely as well. Even student apartments not connected with the university are attractive. University and town are great example of planning and zoning.
I have been to plenty of university campuses
and this may be the prettiest.

I heard they have good food! I also hope to get accepted as a graduate student! Did some research about this university and I’ll definitely do more research on it, since it’s one of my dream schools. I’ve never been there, but I heard it’s one of the great universities in VA! I know a lot of people who goes there, as well as some people who graduated from VT!! 🦃🧡 I’ll be an in-state student
