Cellar Restaurant

Our visit was well worth the little detour off the interstate. The food was excellent and so was the service and our little dog liked the outdoor seating on a beautiful spring like day.

Great spot downtown with a nice and relaxed vibe. Came here with a few friends for dinner and would definitely come back! I got the chicken souvlaki kabobs, which were cooked very well. Neither the asparagus nor the chicken were dry, and the rest of my friends were also very happy with what they got.
Service was great, except their default tip options for when you pay were 25, 23, and 22% which is definitely questionable.

Best restaurant experience I've had in a long time. Food tasted great, was more than I needed, and came at an extremely reasonable price. The restaurant was very busy and yet the service was exceptional and speedy. The staff (Miriam specifically) was friendly and patient even when I accidentally broke a glass midway through peak hours.
I definitely look forward to coming back again.

Really fun restaurant. Came here with a group of friends and really enjoyed ourselves. The food was really good. The portion sizes were really big, you can share a lot of the food options. For example, the Calzone that I ordered was easily sharable with another person. Overall, the food was good, the service was great and we would love to come back

First visit in several years as an alumnus. Drinks are still reasonably priced and the food was good! It was quiet when arriving, but rapidly got busier and crowded as dinner hours progressed. Definitely still popular, nice to see.

Delicious Greek based menu with great variety and generous portions.

This place has awesome variety of food from pasta to Greek food to seafood and the portions are very big and filling. Flavor of the food is great and food is very fresh service is always good. The waitress was very helpful with the my dairy allergy and helped decided what to order. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. They had quite a selection. This is our go to place for great food and service whenever we are in Blacksburg.

I don't go to the Cellar because a) I don't drink and b) the place makes me feel claustrophobic. As a result, it doesn't occur to me to go to the Cellar Restaurant that often. This is a major oversight on my part. The grilled chicken sandwich is outstanding. Normally I ask for extra tomatoes on sandwiches because places tend to skimp on them. They might have put too many tomatoes on my sandwich when I asked for extra tomatoes, but that's not a complaint. My lunch was quick and delicious. The inside of the place is a little dark, but if that's the worst thing someone says about a dining experience, you're doing a lot right.

Absolutely delicious Greek dining, with a focus on pizza and pasta. Everything is delicious and high-quality. Their Greek spaghetti might be one of my favorite meals ever. Pizzas are customizable with lots of options, and they have a large alcohol selection as well.

I was in Blacksburg for three days and ate at The Cellar twice! Actually, I tried once more but they were just too busy. The wait staff was extremely attentive for being as busy as they were. The food was fresh and delicious. The bread was crispy on the outside but was squishy soft on the inside. I ate the Greek veggie sub the first night and the Margarita Pizza on the last night. I loved both but if I had to choose a favorite it would have to be the pizza. The Cellar is well worth the wait!

Phenomenal food, both traditional and otherwise. The spanakopita and souvlaki were delicious.

the cellar is a staple of blacksburg. you can't come here and not eat at the cellar. it has great food and great service. the gyro and calzones here are amazing. amazing service too the people here are super friendly. i will definitely come back

Wonderful experience on gorgeous day. Sat on patio, enjoyed our lunch. Unfortunately I didn't take photos. My husband had salmon PoBoy, which was delicious.

Awesome food, great atmosphere, try the pita pizza it will not disappoint. If you can get there early and have a few people - grab the champagne room!

Everything was tasty. We had the shrimp appetizer, spinach artichoke dip (a bit salty but good otherwise), and mushroom ravioli. Prices were pretty good and they had gluten free options for several things.

We had a great meal. 'Loved my chicken Parm w/pasta with a side of fresh vegetables. The wait was not too long, even on family weekend. The eggplant Parm sandwich and Calzone was also very good.

i was there Sunday night with my wife and kids visiting VA tech for our son and we decided to eat at Cellar!
I am the owner of an Italian restaurant in Virginia and therefore I understand a little about food….pizza margherita, cheeseburgers and steak subs for me beers, sodas and more and I can say everything perfect from the service to the food.
Great job guys keep up the good work, I will definitely recommend you to all my friends and when I come back to the Tech I will definitely eat at your place.
Too bad I don't remember the server's name but I remember that he is from Roanoke and that he is 24 years old, very good and present!

Great service by Ashley on a Saturday night! Fast and attentive for our group of 5, great food! Would highly recommend.
