Village Park Athletics Complex

If you are navigating to the playground, do NOT follow the GPS all the way. It navigated me to some fields 1 mile past the playground. As soon as you pass the community center and see the soccer fields, turn left where it says Pickleball. I wish they would put a sign for Playground there. Other than that the park is perfect- tons of shade, rubber ground, and it has both baby and big kid swings. There’s also a big pavilion for barbeques.

I had never been there prior. Turns out my son had a LaCrosse tournament there this past weekend, " GO CREATORS " and it was a beautiful complex. Plenty of fields. Baseball, soccer, LaCrosse, etc.. It's easy to find your way around. Plenty of parking. Workers constantly cleaning and emptying trash. Just an overall nice weekend at a great place to hold an event, or even just to take your kids out to practice whatever sport they love.

Great fields for 2 day Lax tourney. Restroom was sporless. But sad to see no concessions or vendors.

I absolutely love this place. Wellington has so many things going on here for families. We come here for the food trucks and bands it’s a great night out. I came here for their 4th of July celebration and I was absolutely incredible. Parking was pretty tough for the 4th of July but they did have buses to and from the mall. I was able to grab the last handicap spot and rolled to the event on my scooter. It was a little difficult to navigate across the grass field but I was able to do so. The Fire works show was good. I’m glad I came here because Wellington hasn’t disappointed with any of the events I’ve attended. Thank you Wellington for an amazing day out.

We were there to visit Peaceful Waters Sanctuary but also walked around this park while my mother was hanging out at the pavilion by the Roller Hockey Rink. This park has almost every sport you could want. It was a Saturday and there were lots of games and practices happening. It was fun watching the Roller Hockey players and the skateboarders in their area. I also liked that they have a basketball area with low hoops for young children. A group of children were practicing there with their coach. There are lots of paved paths to walk or run in the park. Lots of parking and a few bathrooms throughout the park.

The children enjoy the all the sport available in this park, my son is super happy playing soccer every week

This park is very well organized, maintained, cleaned and staff is helpful. There are plenty of fields and parking spots, just be aware of your assigned field as parking is located close to the field groups.

Been going here for about 6 years. It's always a nice experience. The staff are excellent, professional and phenomenal at their cuts. I have 2 boys who are always pleased with their cuts. Sean is excellent!

Huge park, at least 8 soccer fields that can be used for American soccer as well. During big events parking can be an issue as the spots are not enough for the size of this park.

There are bathrooms around, kids from all ages certainly can have fun.

It's a beautiful park. Village Park hosted my two boys' soccer games and it is very well maintained, lots of space for the family to hangout and park their carts full of soccer game essentials 😁 as well as plenty of space for the kids to kick around. The park itself is huge. One piece of advice is to make sure to park close to your assigned field or you could end up walking a mile looking for it like I did. 😂😂😂 Can't wait to play there again!

We supplied production for a Foreigner Tribute band and had a great night. Beautiful night and tons of people showed up. Awesome night

Peaceful Waters is beautiful. We saw otters , all types of birds , painted buntings and at the end wilsons terns diving for fish

Village Park came recommended by our neighbors and boy are we glad that we took up their recommendation. Village Park is a beautiful, well maintained local park in Wellington. It’s free and wide open the public. It’s quite tranquil and has a massive walking trail. I believe there are two walking routes one is much longer than the other. What we love most is the ample amount of parking and fields. We were amazed at how many soccer goals were here (hubby is a devout soccer player). There’s a playground , basketball court, and what looks like a place for hockey. It’s pretty cool and I highly recommend, very family friendly!

Huge place. Playground has a cool man-made Boulder that kids can climb on- my kids loved it. Plenty of parking

Love the park, today so many activities there was absolutely no parking causing lots of frustration on the part of parents to watch there children.

Very nice complex however, during the summer lacrosse championship competitions , there were no five gallons waterfilled or Gatorade mixes readily available for the athletes and officials. It was so very hot and I was nervous that the officials and or athletes would have heat strokes. They were not ENOUGH shades from the heat. On field 6, after the ending of the first day of the tournaments. The bugs just flooded the areas.
