High quality smoked beef, pork , and chicken. The sides are limited, but very good. The baked mac n cheese is phenomenal. So are the ribs. Some of the most tender smoky ribs I have ever eaten! Plan to go back again soon.

This is very, very delicious! I enjoyed every piece. The brisket is absolutely incredible, melting in your mouth, leaving perfect aftertaste. I highly recommend it!

All around great experience. Love their new location (105 Bypass near Caldwell Community College)! My son and I split the brisket sandwich AKA Saucesquatch and the Treat Yo Sef bbq parfait. Tender brisket, juicy pork, great hush puppies. Felt great to sit in the sun and eat some BBQ. The owners were super friendly, the food came out quick, and they even came out to make sure we were enjoying everything. Current schedule is Tuesday-Saturday, but check their Instagram for updated hours and daily specials.

In the opinion of this native Texan, Smokin J's is head and shoulders better than any other bbq in the high country. It's an awesome, locally owned, and family run business. Check them out!

Crispy 'slaw, tasty pulled pork, and the banana pudding is bad for you in the best way. Worth my time, and I will be going back!

It was amazing. Everything tasted fantastic. Anything on the menu. The brisket was to die for and the sauce on the chicken tasted great.

It never disappoints! The sandwich servings are very generous and the brisket is lean and tender.
